This was a nice spot, and the airstream was super fun. We couldn't eat the breakfast, as there were no ingredients listed, and my daughter has food allergies and I am a vegan. The pool was nice, but sadly, closed at dusk. My favorite part was the meditative gardens.

One of the other guests made us feel very unwelcome - gave us strange looks. We stayed at a similar type of hotel/motel in Islamorada, and the friendly guests made it such a pleasant stay. Also, we thought we would be able to kayak, but this wasn't offered. Our morning swim (at 9:30 am) was accompanied by a loud leaf blower, the entire 30 minutes - would have loved peace and quiet.

Largo Resort was INCREDIBLE. Once we passed through the gates and onto the property, we were quickly transported into a jungle oasis. Lush vegetation, charming bungalows, a beautiful pool and waterfront area. The attention to detail was lovely, with little statues or buddhas hiding in the trees, orchids, white sand, beautiful lighting, etc. The bungalow was spacious, private, and just amazing. I was especially delighted to wake up to a breakfast basket on our doorstep in the morning. It contained baked goods and jam. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. We read that there was no restaurant, so we brought a few groceries for the kitchenette and went to nearby restaurants, which I found to be perfect. If you are looking for a place with dining, poolside service, spa, etc., keep in mind Largo Resort doesn't have these amenities. Also, keep in mind that a car or uber will be needed to get around.

The property was very well maintained. It was very quiet (except road noise) and relaxing. Sunsets and view spectacular. The room was good sized and enjoyed having two large bathrooms with a family. The pool was very pretty and also nice and warm! The boys enjoyed fishing right off the dock as well.

Upon entering room, we noticed a very musty smell. It was cool enough to open windows which helped. We would have liked more than one kayak and one paddle board with a family of four. I would also replace two chairs with something more comfortable to sit on.

The music by the pool could have been better, more tropical and fitting for the location rather than top 40 of the 2000s. I would suggest Sade, Tame impala, some jazz, classic rock, select country,.. not a bad thing though because we brought a personal speaker. But the vibe could have been calmer if we didnt walk up the first day and Thrift Shop by Macklemore was blasting😂 again, just an observation for your info

Very peaceful, quiet and serene. We enjoyed our spacious bungalow facing the pool and beach. Everyday we paddled board and kayak for fun! The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful.

They need to make this property adults only! We showed up the first day with only couples on property, everyone was chill and respectful. Then the next day a young couple showed up with 2 young kids and then it was non stop screaming and annoying whining the whole time. It made our stay less peaceful. We also suggest they should have a bar with snacks, there’s nothing of that sort.

Location was ABSOLUTE PARADISE! We stayed in the Sunset room with direct pool and ocen views. The BEST! The privacy and secluded feel of the property was blissful. There is no restrauant onsite, so we stopped at the store and got all our favorite foods for breakfast and lunch and went out for dinner. We lounged by the pool, kayaked, rode bikes, tossed a football - all complimentary. Best stay ever! Staff were exceptiomally helpful and accomodating.

They provide a breakfast basket which is very thoughtful. However, it had high fructose syrup for "OJ"and lots of carbs. We would have preferred fresh fruit and a bagette, butter/honey. However, thanks to prior reviews we knew to bring our own and were totally happy.

My family and i really enjoyed the view from the pool area especially in the evenings with it all lit up. Complimentary breakfast with fruit juices was a lovely touch/surprise as it was unexpected. We all loved the living space area and having separate bathrooms which worked really well for us.

My daughter forgot something in the room when we checked out. We returned two days later to see if they had found the item but to our surprise there was no one in reception so we sat and waited for a while but then had to leave to catch our flight home. I haven't been able to get through to then since our arrival home to ask the question which is a shame.

I don't know if it was luck or we just happened to go at the right time, but there weren't a lot of other people at this resort during our stay and we never had any issue with getting a beach or pool lounger or reading out by the ocean. The room was spacious and comfortable, the property was quiet (even though it was right off the highway), it felt secluded and private, and the water was great! The staff was friendly and helpful.

I wish there had been food options at the resort itself, but there were still plenty of great restaurants a very short distance away. This isn't something that bothered us, but this location is at the far north of the keys, so if you plan to go to other keys (like Key West), you have to plan on a day to drive the 2+ hours to get there (which we did and loved).

Fantastic place, could not recommend enough. Once you pass through the gates it feels like you're in a secluded rainforest paradise. The grounds are very nicely landscaped, bungalows are spacious, clean, very nicely decorated. The pool/beach area is beautifully done but still felt quiet. Even with most of the bungalows occupied it never felt particularly busy. Bikes/kayaks are an added bonus and we went out a few times for a paddle in the lagoon. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The property is next to the overseas highway and even though they do a good job of making you feel secluded behind a fence and gate, the highway is always audible. Having said that, our bungalow was closest to the road and inside the bedroom noise was never an issue.

Pretty much everything! The bungalows were beautiful, modern and comfortable. The pool was beautiful and a great temperature. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous! The views were just incredible. It's a small, intimate place which is fabulous! Staff was warm, welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

There was nothing that we didn't like. But they could do ONE thing that would make it all the more amazing. I would suggest putting in a nice hot tub. That is honestly the only thing this lovely resort is lacking.
