Breakfast awesome. Staff so very nice and accommodating.Awesome awesome pool.I could have lived in it if I didn’t have other stuff to do lol.Reasonable room rates . Dog fee hurt my wallet a bit -I wish it was one price for all days (we extended our stay 3 times) Lol.Despite a highway right along side the hotel- completely can not hear it in the room amazingly enough. I wish I had signed up for the rewards for staying.

The only thing we didn’t like is the bad smell of cleaner that wreaked right when you open the door . I mean it was so overpowering like disinfectant with bug spray. My husband got an instant headache. We kept the door open to try to get rid of it.He spent the night actually at my sons and was fine. Came back spent the night instant headache.Every night after headache.I didn’t want to switch rooms because I Somewhat was airing it out.. Here it is s nice clean perfect room but overpowered smell.This place bent over backwards to accommodate your needs. Iron towels blankets. I would come back if that smell wasn’t there.

Staff extremely helpful and kind. Did the best with what they had. Room very spacious for the price. Great AC. Lots of pillows. “Gym” is just treadmill & bike, but you get what you pay for. Laundry machines worked very well. Lobby has tiny self service convenience store with lots of useful items including medicines like Aleve, alongside food and treats like ramen and ice cream. Staff available to help 24/7. Would definitely stay again.

The room floor was dirty upon check in. Lobby smelled weird all the time, maybe because of those poor tropical fish? Housekeeping had shampoo but no conditioner. Never had any lotion. Wish their lobby was open later.

The hotel is old, but updated with a nice room. Our king room was somewhat clean, but the floor was sandy. The first room we were given had s broken shade, but a maintenance man was sent right away. We decided to move to a different room and when we noticed the refrigerator was smaller then our original room, we asked to switch refrigerators and he did it! Thanks, Kelvin! The hotel also has a beautiful pool and cabanas with tables and chairs inside. We didn't get to swim, but would have if the weather was better. Very rainy. We did have a morning where we played putt put on an 18 hole coarse on the property. Our free breakfast was good with bagels, muffins, cereals, milk, coffee, juices, bananas, and hard boiled eggs.

I love this older retro motel. The HoJo colors bring back great memories. And everything was very fresh, and the property well-kept. The driveway into the property was like a "drum roll" (lighted and colorful) as you arrived at the front desk. The decorations in the room and lobby were nicely done. I liked the roll-down window privacy shade, for those who like darkness to sleep. Having a phone in the room was nice, if you need quick info from the front desk. Great location for many travel purposes.

A TV guide would have helped, but I eventually found something I wanted to watch. A coffee maker would have been a bonus, too..

We were not expecting much more than a clean bed and hoped it would be quiet enough to sleep. The room was pretty clean, bed was comfortable, the room was decorated in a welcome home way that surprised us in a delightful way. It was also quiet enough that we were not awakened during the night nor disturbed by neighbors above or beside us. We will stay at other HoJo's in our future as we spend an average of 30 nights a year in hotels.

We can't complain as this hotel was much more than we expected. We are in a Marriott Suite tonight. Ho Jo's bed was more comfortable. I like the whole pillows the Marriott gives us. So, I can say I disliked the half pillows HoJo's and all budget hotels provide, now.

It was clean. The room didn't have a closed up smell so that was a plus . The remodel of the room looked nice . But the couple things that I didn't like for us wasn't really a big issue. The pillows were fluffy the sheets were clean. Would definitely visit again

The the light switch didn't work by door. The bathtub had burn marks from where someone put their cigarettes out on it. I wish they gave u more towels

Great stay and relaxing

The short guy named Israel working in the morning around 6ish toward 7 o’clock.. very rude and uncomfortable feeling upon simple conversation..slick mouth with “an I don’t care” attitude..if he’s cranky I get it but your working a front desk for customer service ..leave it at home..extremely unprofessional ..I hope this helps for future references

My king room was huge. Maid service every day if wanted. Bed was awesome very comfortable. Pool and jacuzzi were awesome. We grilled and putt putt golf for the whole day was $4 each.

There was a small breakfast during the week and more things were offered on Sat and Sun.

Nothing you can do. Location so close to I75 made it difficult to sleep with traffic noise. Not your fault but slipped when stepping out of shower. Luckily I fell straight back and into the tub with legs hanging over tub and back against the back side of the tub. Basically ended up sitting in the tub. No injury but didn't have anything handy to grab onto.

The room was very comfortable and mostly clean although the floor had not been cleaned, nor the "shelves" in the bathtub to put things like soap... they were slick. The breakfast here I wouldn't really call a breakfast as the decaf coffee was awful... I had to dump it our and go to RaceTrac. The packaged bear claws was all they had to constitute a "breakfast." Overall though I have enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

One thing that has really bothered me... the first time we stayed here over a month ago when the sign-in staff were very pleasant and made the process delightful. This time the staff seemed almost testy. Not a good way to deal with people who were staying here and potentially staying here again. I would like to recommend HOJO to my friends.
