The location is PERFECT!!! The parking is free which is nice in the often chaotic parking experience that St Augustine has. It’s walkable to EVERYTHING. We have lived near St Augustine our whole lives. But love coming in for the night going to our favorite spots having some drinks, listening to live music, and not having to worry about driving home. The Best Western Bayfront allows us the ease and comfort we are looking for when coming into St Augustine for the night to relax, unwind, and really enjoy!!

Honestly, not anything to complain about, but it is surrounded by a lot of great venues, restaurants, and places with Live Music. So it can be loud until the bars and restaurants close. We don’t mind the noise until midnight because we are usually the ones enjoying it in the restaurants and bars. But this is not the hotel you come to for quiet and getting to bed early.

The highlight of this stay was the location and cleanliness. If your planning on staying downtown, and able to walk a mile or two, you really won't need a car at all. If you do need to do some driving though, as we did, there seems to be a parking attendant on duty throughout the day able to direct you to an open spot. I was pretty impressed by the cleanliness of the room. While small, it was very comfortable, and had all the necessities. The nights were quiet, though later in the morning we found we could clearly hear people as they walked by our room. We weren't particularly bothered by this. While a traditional breakfast is still not being offered here, we did notice people taking advantage of the grab and go option.

Location was fabulous right in Old Town of St. Augustine. We were able to walk to whatever restaurants and shopping we wanted, and the historic fort was only around a block away. The reception staff was also excellent and concerned about our comfort and satisfaction. We had a minor issue with noise from a bar directly behind our room, and the TV had an odd background configuration of white dots. As soon as my husband mentioned it to the woman in the lobby area, she immediately indicated she would relocate us to a different part of the building that didn't back up to the street and a room that had a well functioning TV. We weren't asking for that or expecting it, so her generosity was totally gratuitous and much appreciated. Excellent stay!

Other than the 2 minor things mentioned above, we were totally satisfied and more than happy with the staff member's insistence that we move to a different room.

Upon arriving, Sashaine made the check in process a pleasure. We enjoyed the area so much that we went to Sashaine and asked if we could extend our stay one more day. She made arrangements for us to remain in the same room. Adrian the parking attendant, placed us in what I considered to be the absolute best spot on the lot. We really enjoyed the friendliness and help the staff gave us during our stay!

The room smelled strongly of bleach, which is not really a complaint because we felt that the room was clean. The parking lot was very small and tight when parking a pick-up truck.

The staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The hotel was located extremely close to all the sightseeing and important landmarks in St Augustine. It was also right off of George's St and made it extremely convenient to shop, go to great restaurants and pubs.

It's on Avenida Menendez which is a very busy main road and so there's was a bit of noise from the cars. The parking area is very limited as well. The rooms are updated but not very big.

The location is within walking distance to fort and other attractions. The motel’s view of the bay is beautiful.

The fan that came on with the lights in the bathroom made an annoying sound, so we couldn’t leave the light on during the night as we usually do for safer trips to the bathroom. The room was well appointed but quite small for the rate we paid. Loved the motel location though which us why we’ve stayed here several times over the years.

The location is "cream of the cream": we were able to walk by the ocean and go to the old town. At night it was so many restaurants with live music, people in good mood, wonderful atmosphere, all was well illuminated-loved it! The room was very comfortable, modern washroom, high quality shampoo, soap and lotion. Breakfast wasn't included; however, in the morning good coffee was available at reception (room had coffee machine with one-cup bags, we didn't like the taste). The room had a small fridge, so we bought some groceries, added coffee from reception and were happy to start day with a breakfast at the room. Generally, sometime I am ready to pay more for such as location to enjoy atmosphere of a new city.

The room was very-very small: king bed and little space to pass by; however, nice bathroom and perfect location compensated for one-night stay. The price was much higher than we could book in alternate places, so location was included in the price, parking $18-hidden cost ( didn't know at time of booking).

I think most would agree that the location is the best thing about this hotel. It is in the perfect spot to walk to almost anything you would want to do in downtown St. Augustine

Even though it has been mostly renovated on the inside, it still feels pretty outdated for how much it cost to stay here. You are paying a premium for the location, which is understandable.

Central location- Walking distance to most tourist destinations, restaurants, and shopping. Very clean.

The hardest and most uncomfortable beds ever made. No elevator - difficult for carrying luggage up and down stairs if your room is on the second floor.

Location is fantastic for staying downtown; parking on site has attendants to help you park and keep your car safe.

If you’re staying on a weekend, the hotel backs up to a place where live music can bleed through the walls; makes going to bed early a bit difficult. I also had water on the floor in my room, but it was because it had been recently mopped. The air wasn’t flowing well enough to dry it, so I had to do that myself.
