The staff are great. Rooms are beautiful. Bed was great. The breakfast was amazing. The location is perfect - 2 min walk to great restaurants/cafes/shops in the charming old town. There was parking in the back (important because parking is difficult in the old town).

The water pressure in the shower was weak.

This is a gorgeous bed & breakfast that is well maintained and comfortable. The Victoria Rose room was right out of a period novel, as was the Parlor and dining room. Breakfast was delicious too. And the service was friendly and caring - the owner called while we were on our way to the property to see if we needed anything or if we were celebrating anything special. I casually mentioned that my husband and I had been married for 3 weeks but hadn’t been able to take a honeymoon yet, so we were just getting out of town for a quick weekend. We arrived to find a mini bottle of bubbly waiting for us! So thoughtful!

Nothing at all - we’d stay at The Old Powder House again in a heartbeat.

Location excellent, close enough to the centre of town but a little away to ensure a peaceful nights' sleep! Breakfast was well presented and very tasty, loved the all-hours coffee, tea, wine and snacks available in the parlor too. The swing on the upstairs balcony and the downstairs rocking chairs were an added bonus!

Maybe the option to see in advance what the next day's breakfast would be? If it was there, my apologies!

The location was perfect. We were able to get to everything by foot fairly quickly. It was quiet and clean. The rooms have an old Victorian feel to it. The breakfast was included and pretty amazing I might add. The breakfast spot across from it was amazing as well (Maple Street Biscuit). The staff was amazing and very accomodating. Made for an amazing birthday, will definitely be back for another stay.

only two negatives. Our room (Victoria Rose) was too close to the entry and the front door opening and closing was a little loud. The water pressure in the shower was too soft.

Hospitality was wonderful. The room was clean & tidied up on a daily basis including fresh towels. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts were amazing! The location was great enabling walking to locations of interest & eliminating public parking fees. Look forward to staying again in the future.

The B&B changed hands within the last year and the new owners are updating & performing needed maintenance. This was somewhat inconvenient during the weekdays but will make it only better!

Everything was exponential !! I rarely take the time to write reviews but every detail in the property was off the charts!! Starting with the design of the property and each room which gives you the feeling as if you traveled back in time! The breakfast was fantastic and personal, special thank you for Katy the host and the Chef for preparing such a yummy breakfast everyday and considering our diet restrictions. Each morning a different flavorful vegan and vegetarian breakfast waited for us with coffee and orange juice. The property also offers fantastic brandy, red wine and snacks in the lounge ! next thing which is great about it is the location and parking. Each room gets a parking spot and the property is located right on the Main Street. a walking distance from all of the attractions. I wish we could have stayed longer ! this is place is simply designed to create memories. Absolutely incredible!!!!

Location was excellent. Walking distance to everything in the historic district. The breakfasts were amazing. In addition, homemade cookies, coffee, wine and brandy were available every day.

The breakfast exceeded expectations. Stuffed french toast was served one morning, , and an incredible quiche the next day. Everything was delicious, and the owners were warm and friendly the entire time. The location couldn't be better; it is a very short walk to restaurants and attractions in downtown St Augustine. This was our first experience in a bed and breakfast, and it was really terrific.

The room near the front door experiences a lot of noise. If there were a way to minimize the loudness of the door that would be great
