The hotel is located in the heart of Old St Augustine with views of the fort and Huguenot Cemetery, just off the pedestrian street into town. Lots of options for breakfast, plus wine tasting and live music can be found at the hotel. Parking is just a few minutes walk from the hotel.

The room was adequate and the antique wood furniture was lovely; however the bedspread, curtains and tablecloth could use an update. Like many tourist cities there’s a homeless persons issue. On one day after returning from sightseeing there was a homeless person resting at the bottom of our stairs. When we left for the evening she was already gone. This should not deter you from staying here - the hotel and staff are wonderful!

I live on the west coast of the state in Sarasota. I travel 3 to 4 times a year to ST. Augustine. The ST. George Hotel is so perfectly Located and the views throughout are off the charts awesome The entire Staff are more than accommodating. and the beds and pillows heck their where mornings I did not want to get up so very comfortable. And some stays if not totally booked they would up grade me to a better room for my booked price. Just the little things that put them above of the rest. Thank you again to the ST. George excellent team... See you all sooner than later Sincerely Adam Carter Sarasota Resident......

Location! I was wondering if it would be worth staying here, but it absolutely was. Given this may have been the busiest week of the year in this town, it would have been nearly impossible to have a comfortable visit if we stayed outside of downtown. There was so much traffic that it would have been a mission to drive into downtown each day and find parking. Most businesses (even restaurants) won't let you use their bathrooms, so spending all day downtown would turn into a mission with bathroom breaks with small kids and waiting in line at public restrooms. It was fantastic to get up in the morning in a clean and comfortable suite, get breakfast served by friendly staff, and be able to hit the sites well before the hoards made it downtown. Rooms are spread around a few buildings, so you will be upstairs above the shops and restaurants. Noise was very tolerable. The one or two bars shut down around 2 anyway. It's not a very late crowd. Even still noise levels in the room were way better than I expected. Rooms are secure. There is a locked gate from the street at the stairs to the upstairs guest rooms. Felt very safe.

The way it is set up, you have to walk down to the main business front and wine bar to get breakfast. It isn't bad, just unexpected. It was nice to get service in a sit down setting instead of cold powdered eggs and danishes that you would get at other hotels nearby. Didn't bother me, but don't expect a quiet private atmosphere. You are downtown on the busiest tourist street in town.

Room located on second floor over St George Street with a balcony Breakfast was included and I was surprised at how many choices. Not a buffet style, but serve at table. Bin39 Courtyard was exceptional, relaxing and they had live music in the afternoon Staff was second to none

Room was above Kilwin's Ice Cream Shop and they played the most horrible music from 8pm to 9:30pm every night from their shop making it impossible to sit out on the balcony - which was one of the main reasons we wanted to overlook St George street. The speaker is right under the deck! 3 nights of this was too much. Hotel staff goes home at 8pm. I should have asked for compensation for this at checkout but didn't. Also, not a comfortable chair in the room to sit inside. Just the desk chair. $432 a night for the King room not exactly worth it. I guess the price is with all the other amenities that make up the total stay.

Location was amazing. Bed very comfortable.

The room layout was less than desirable. The bathroom area was a tub/sink combo with a toilet. The sink and small mirror were located in the actual bedroom and the lighting was terrible. There was no privacy for the sink area. Typically if I am awake before my husband I go ahead and shower, do my make-up, fi my hair etc. That was not possible with the sink being in the bedroom. I also was not happy that there was no desk or work area in the room. It was very uncomfortable having to do some light computer work while sitting on the bed holding my laptop. Took a while for the shower to get hot then it came in and out. The sink in the bedroom must have had a small leak at the base because the area around it was constantly wet and we kept having to use towels to keep it dry so we did not slip.

Second time we've stayed there and the staff is ALWAYS so pleasant and welcoming, always! Morning, noon and night, everyone is exceptional. Really enjoy talking to them and getting to know them.

Last time, in a different room, strong musty mildew smell, and hubby and I both had bad headaches the entire time because of it. We kept trying to air out the room. This time musty smell upon walking in but not as bad. Then the rug got wet because of the hurricane (I tried to protect it with towels at the bottom of the door, but eventually lost that battle.) When the rug wet it stuck pretty badly (didn't realize that was what it was at first), so we rolled it up and set it outside on the porch for the rest of the trip. We think that actually helped with the mustiness as well, room was noticeably better.

Wonderfully warm, efficient, welcoming staff on, actually before arrival. Delightful, lush courtyard and stellar porch to rock in while watching the most fun, interesting, lively act we’ve seen in a long time. I should have gotten her name because her performance was one of the highlights of your hotel. She was performing on Friday night. We LOVED her and so did the crowd. The room layout was so perfect. We’re a bunch of overworked Nurses and had to share a room. The bathroom in the middle made it feel like suite. We were so comfortable. Your hotel was a high point of our travels. Thank you for a wonderful experience that was worth every penny. I hope you might have a discount promotion for healthcare workers because we can’t wait to come back and convince our coworkers to come too. Thank you.

Please don’t change a thing!!!!

Place was located in a perfect location. Service was excellent everyone was exceptional. Breakfast was very good since it was complementary. Everyone went out of their way to help and answer any question you may have.

Only thing I can say negative was the place is old but refurbished, the sink was constantly clogged and needed time to drain. Shower could have used a cabinet as also the sink area was in need of more room. Only small changes needed since price was at the extreme high side.

The property & rooms are beautiful & well kept. It is quaintly nestled into a lovely historic setting with so many activities & dining options within walking distance. We love having the complimentary breakfast in their courtyard or enjoying a glass of wine in the early evening. We make sure to get a room with a balcony. Their staff are always pleasant & accommodating. We try to go back once a year!

The location was superb! Close to all historic parts of St Augustine.

Off site parking was problematic. Loading and unloading in/out of the B&B was hectic. Parking garage is what is used. So keep that in mind if your a worry wart. The public parking structure was full when we arrived at 3pm so unless you toss the keys to the B&B staff you may have to drive around for a while. We drove for about 30 minutes until it reopened.
