Motel 6-Starke, FL

Me and my husband were traveling to Starke, FL for a overland expo and We had booked a king room but when we got there we realized it was kinda far away from where we had to park. Being as tho we were in a Jeep and was pulling a trailer, we kinda wanted to be able to keep a eye on everything, so the awesome guy working the front desk, upgraded us to a double room for no extra fee so that we could park right in front of. It was also a handicap accessible room with was even better seeing as tho me and my husband are both disabled. The TV wasn't hooked up but they came and fixed that before we could even unload our Jeep. The room was very clean and the beds are super comfortable. The shower was Amazing!!! I literally could have spent the whole time in it. Will definitely be back 😃

I sometimes travel through Starke and I alway reserve at this Motel 6 because it’s one of the ones I prefer. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. You will find few bugs around due to it being in the country side but that’s anywhere if Florida in similar areas. I recommend this motel if you’re not looking to spend a lot for your stay.

I liked the location and the staff a really good spot to stay in, I went to Gainsville for the Gators and came back for the night, and I enjoyed it. This was my first time taking a trip on my own and I loved every second of it,

Nothing could have gone better for this visit because there was nothing for me to complain about, the staff was cool and laid back, and very helpful. I hope this Motel 6 keeps up the good hard work at this Hotel.

The location, everything that I needed was within walking distance, except for pizza. But it was still delivered faster than it is where I live. Really enjoyed my stay

The fact that I had to leave and get back to work somewhere else😆

Spacious room. Large area to walk the dogs. Well lit hallways and outside rooms. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Spacious bathroom with good hot water. Personable staff. I love the fact that they don't charge a pet fee.

The floors were very sandy and dirty. They needed to be swept and mopped. The AC was very loud and rattling. The temperature control knob was broken and couldn't adjust the temperature. Good thing I like a cold room. The person living in their car in the back parking lot was kind of disturbing but they stayed to themselves.

The young lady working the front desk was super friendly. My room was way better than I expected. Room was very clean and updated. I thought the bed was comfortable as well. When I go back to Gainseville I will stay there again. For the price you cant beat it.

No coffee maker in room. But i went to front desk and they had coffee in the lobby. no big deal.

There was no refrigerator or microwave... Had to pay extra for that but wasn't there really long enough for it to be any problem. Other than that everything was great!

Quiet

Horrible bed, chipping paint, dirty tub drain, horrible light around vanity, TV channels limited.
