Comfort Suites Tampa Airport North

I appreciate that my 18 year old daughter was able to check in and allowed to stay. I rented this room for her and a friend so they wouldn’t be on I4 late after a concert in Tampa. Most hotels do not allow guests under 21 to check in so despite some mediocre reviews I chose this hotel mostly because she could check in at 18. However, she was impressed by the service and cleanliness of the property (when I saw pics I was too.) the deposit was returned fully and promptly. Even if other hotels allowed check-ins at 18, this property would still be wt the top of my list for price, cleanliness, customer service and location.

The room was very spacious with a really comfortable bed. Lovely big bathroom too with plenty towels. The pool area was nice for relaxing with a very HOT hot tub and very cold pool. Breakfast was great with a very good selection and plenty of it. Convenient for the airport.

I had arranged via Booking.com for an early check-in which was confirmed, but when we arrived, there were no rooms available and reception advised there was a $60 charge to check in early. I had email confirmation, but there were no rooms anyway. After 40 minutes sitting in lounge area, reception confirmed there was a room now available and there wouldn't be any charge. They were very accommodating and apologetic.

The staff were accommodating and professional! The rooms are big and clean.

we have stayed here before a a couple of times .However this time the bed seemed weird. The size of the pillows were smaller than before...and the mattress uncomfortable .we could not sleep well and woke up tired with our back hurting. Ours was room with king bed and the bed size seems to be queen size .The shower had no hot water ! Was just warm and mostly clod . It was uncomfortable especially after a long day of work.

This is in a great location near airport with a lot of food locations, even a Target a couple miles away. If like smoked food, need hit Jazzy's BBQ down the road half mile or so. This was rated best in USA by Good Morning America and they are right!! Only down side is that breakfast during week could be about an half hour longer, ends at 9am. We understand that it starts at 6am due to having business people during week. But, for us on vacation means have to make sure at breakfast by 830am. I'd enjoyed it more had been 630am till 930am. We plan however, to be back there due to location when travel to Tampa.

I can't say anything was bad with this hotel in any manner.

loved the cleanliness of the facility. I don’t know if they had plug ins or they would spray the room but it smelled so good. they don’t touch your personal items and they are respectful of that.

the tv kept skipping and freezing. the only channel that worked were the children’s channels (Nickelodeon, Disney, Cartoon Network) which wasn’t terrible to watch and doesn’t bring down the score of the hotel. I knew we were by the airport just not that much to where every 5 minutes a plane would fly directly over the hotel. the breakfast didn’t have a lot. the woman at the desk told me it wasn’t grab and go so I got excited when to hear it would be an actual breakfast. breakfast only included 2 cereals, toast and a couple snacks (couldn’t remember what they were), I was hoping to have waffles.

The lady at the desk to check me in was very nice. Customer Service Skills are excellent.. Rooms are very nice in size, you get more than enough towels and wash clothes. I called the front desk to report a minor issue and the you lady was very polite. Even offered me anything I needed for the inconvenience. I told her no I'm good I just wanted to make her aware.. ❤️ Definitely will be back

I was treated amazing by EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER I came in contact with! Our flight was majorly delayed and we didn’t end up getting in until 430am. From the lady on the phone to the gentleman when we got there, the breakfast staff, to the awesome girls at the counter at check out!! I own a business and each one of those staff members displayed kindness and helpfulness to my family!! Definitely people worth keeping!!! I’d be back just based on them alone!!! Keep up the good work!!

The rooms were clean and spacious. Fridge in room is helpful. pillows and mattress super comfy. staff amazing-

the pool was closed on a Saturday afternoon for cleaning. not ideal. wish there was an airport shuttle.

Love that even though it was posted, like most hotels that rooms would be cleaned and restocked on the 3rd day of stay they cleaned every day!

Had to have my card rekeyed several times until I asked why it kept happening and was told to keep it away from my cell phone and problem solved. Staff is great probably just didn't want me to feel like an idiot by pointing it out so nicely fixed for me 🤷‍♀️

Room was quiet and the beds were comfortable. Location is close to the airport with gas stations on the way to fill up the rental car.

The air conditioner rattled and the fan could have been stronger. The room and furnishings are showing some wear.
