Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Tampa-Fairgrounds-Casino, an IHG Hotel

Correction. I loved. I loved the hotel and it’s location! The cleanliness walking in was noticeable and front staff were kind when we checked in. The beds were amazingly soft and comfortable and our room was amazing and clean! Loved everything about this hotel and I will be returning for another concert visit! Thank you holiday inn !! OH AND ALSO! I’m a big breakfast person, so by means the breakfast was good! A nice simple variety that did its job in filling me and my friend up before we checked out! Thanks again! Hope my comment helps the next person trying to find a hotel!

The breakfast was very tasty . The young lady who works in the breakfast area was so nice and professional. She walked around and asked if you needed anything. Excellent service during breakfast. The young lady in housekeeping was very nice. I think her name was Neka. Very sweet young lady. These two young ladies are an asset to your establishment. They both deserve a raise or some type of accomplishments. We would definitely come back to stay if these two ladies are there.

During our stay, the toilet in our room would not flush. The African American staff member told us that he didn't think there was a plunge but then found one with dried toilet paper wrapped in a plastic bag. We were not transferred to another room until the next day. I talk with the manager Jerry that day and he ask to send maintenance to her room. Jose came to our room and tried several different things and nothing worked. He stated that ,the toilet will need to be removed. We were sent to another room which was a suite.

I was very impressed by Scott. He ran an excellent breakfast. Everything was clean and full. I watched him stay busy taking care of guests, cleaning and keeping the food full. You don't see those kind of work ethics often anymore. You need to give him a raise and keep him around. Checkin and checkout were also a breeze. All staff was very accommodating.

I have nothing to say here. Everything was great!

I like that the property was convenient to every where I wanted to go. Breakfast was decent and the guy was very kind & made sure everything was clean.

The rooms have very thin walls and it’s time for the hotel to be updated. I don’t like that they don’t clean the rooms or make sure you have clean towels. It’s disappointing to have concierge text you but never bring what you ask.

We went to a concert at the amphitheater and the location was perfect. We were able to walk to the venue. The beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly.

The water pressure in the shower wasn’t that great and the elevator was pretty slow. We ended up taking the stairs most of the time.

Room was lovely, location was fantastic.

Very slow elevator at rear entrance. Nighttime staff upon arrival had a conversation with another guest the whole time he was checking me in. It was late and I was tired and I felt like I was not his priority.

The staff were friendly and prompt, always available. they were knowledgeable about events and locations nearby and I was pleased.

The pool was small and located behind the building which is nice to hide from passerby in the front, but the shade from the building blocked the sun most of the day and it was cold back there, even though it was 90 most of the time.

The room was spacious, location was great for our purposes, it was quiet, and staff was very friendly and helpful.

The bed was a bit hard for my taste but I slept very well despite that. The bathroom lighting wasn't the best for makeup application.

Best one out of the 4 hotels along the same road. Room is much bigger than regular hotel rooms. Dining room is spotless clean, very neat and tidy. Hot breakfast is included with great coffee in the morning. The staffs are always wearing big smile, very friendly and helpful.

Their rooms run out fast, we have tried a few times and always full. Now we know why!

The location was closed to everything, The breakfast was good.
