Econolodge Augusta

I like the breakfast selection, the friendly staff and the HBO. It is really close to the hospital and the medical university which is convenient for me as I transition to a medical career path. The delivery service to the econolodge is fast, and I enjoyed using the vending machine at night. I forgot to bring some roll down turf so I could get some real swings in with my irons.

I have a dog. Obviously there's no storage room for a dog in a hotel. That's why I am looking for a lease in Georgia. If it had been the middle of June I would have had to park nextdoor.

Breakfast could have had more options. Especially for people with dietary restrictions, it was very limited. I also wish the staff was able to be less "stingy" with items. I would have liked to be able to get an extra towel without having to go back to my room and return used towels. Seemed unnecessary and didn't come off well. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly, and the room was adequate.

Irvin at the front desk was delightful, informative, and made us feel very welcome. Only downside was the shower looked like it needed redone but overall would stay again, good location and great deal.

Went to Masters Golf Tournament practice round. Motel was 3.5 miles away and in easy access to downtown Augusta restaurants and the golf course and the large medical complex. Safe and very clean. Front desk person was extremely helpful as was the breakfast hostess. Manager told me all new furniture coming next year. Breakfast was adequate. I would definitely recommend it if you wanted to use it for seeing tournament.

Only drawback was no elevator if someone has trouble with stairs.

The location of the hotel was great. The room was adequately updated. Wifi was great. The staff was friendly. The property was well-kept.

The floors could have used a mopping. If a person were hungry for a big breakfast, then they would go elsewhere to fill that need.

Excellent Surprise is what I would say about my stay at this Econolodge.. Obvious concern for me staying at Econolodge. I normally tryna not to stay in motels but boy was i pleasantly surprise by the cleanliness of the room and bathroom.. property was safe quiet clean snd well attended I absolutely will stay at this motel again

The close distance to the hospital. My friend had a transplant appointment at University Hospital in Augusta. We could walk to the appointment. Very convenient location.

We were in Room 106. The people in Room 107 or 108, not quite sure had kids that were allowed to bang on doors and make noise right outside of our room until past midnight. Also, the soda and snack machines were directly in front of our room so could hear when anyone went to vending🤔

The lady at the desk was extremely friendly and gave us lots of information about food and restaurants in the area.

The next morning I went to check out and I rang the bell didn't see the note and the lady, I believe owner, wasn't so friendly at all.

Close to where we had to attend a conference.

Floor in room was not clean. Had just my socks on. Looked at socks they was light brown on the bottom. Need a non slid mat in bath tub so you want slip and fall

Great location close to hospital. Good value. Clean.

This is a budget motel. If you are expecting luxury this is not the place. If you want a good clean place to stay it is a good value. A bit noisy at times.
