Helpful staff, not a huge busy resort more relaxed and going at your own pace.

The AC worked way too good, not really a problem though

ac, lobby, room were all very comfortable. airport shuttle was very convenient and we were able to use it the day after we arrived to pick up our rental from the airport. location was also very convenient and close to many restaurants. also appreciated the reusable water bottles they provided and the conveniently located water refill stations.

nothing stands out as something we didn't like. we would definitely stay here again next time we visit maui, and we would make a point to try the on-site restaurant next time. we also didn't get a chance to try the pool as our schedule was full so we'll definitely try that next time as well.

The staff, particularly, Gary....was friendly and helpful. He was able to check us in early and provide us with some local information. The hotel is very close to the airport, so making an early morning flight is easy. The whole place has been remodeled and while the rooms are simple, the pool area is wonderful, along with a sandy beach area near the pool.

The restaurant attached was a disappointment. The staff rushed us through our meal and the place was NOT busy at all. I had the Miki (noodles with shrimp and chicken), there are no shrimp and very little chicken...I honestly think they forgot to add it. For others in the party, many of the options for sides were unavailable. We did not enjoy the meal, and it was our last meal in Hawaii....such a shame.

Nice hotel near the airport, less than 10 minutes away. There's a small but nice pool, big area for walking around and hanging out with lots of lounge chairs. Lawn is nicely curated. The beach is right there behind the pool too, and is nice to swim in. The beach there is part of a small bay so there are no waves but the harbor is right there. Free water bottles were a nice touch. Staff were great.

The water from the hotel bathroom faucet had a strong chlorine taste. Since they gave us free reusable water bottles, I thought the water quality would be good to drink but it wasn't. Elevator to the room in the back building was not wheelchair accessible.

The landscaping and open air layout was very nice. The view of the harbor and surrounding mountains was nice to take in while relaxing in the pool or lounge chair. It was a very nice remodel of an original midcentury hotel.

The plumbing needs some work. The hot water was not not consistent so taking a shower was more exciting that it should be. Also, the water filter in the lobby stopped working. The bed mattress pad was loose and slid around making the bed lumpy after tossing and turning since we prefer firm mattresses over soft. Though I know we are outliers on mattress firmness.

We had a very nice 3 nights stay, the staff fully embrace aloha spirit; they are very kind & friendly (from the reception, the security couple to the cleaning crew). The outdoor & shared areas are great, everything clean, nicely designed and definitely a plus to allow us to have a nice experience. The hotel also include a laundry room and the setting at night is very nice with the fire under the stars. Parking is comfortable & felt secure with the cameras all over. Compare to other areas in the island, the rooms are expensive. But this hotel offers the best quality-price relationship when we searched. So really the only cons is the motel style of the old building where they seems to be updating it. So I guess in some years the hotel will be top 360°

The only downside are the old rooms (standard view), because they are really motel style. We got one on the ground floor facing the fence, fully made of carpet & the walls are like paper (so you can hear everything around). But it was very clean, fully equipped & spacious.

Close to airport. Walking distance to Kahului malls / dining / breakfast restaurants / WholeFoods. Central location (island-wise) Nice area, pool amenities. Friendly staff. Tante restaurant is fine.

Rooms are pretty outdated. Clean, but not sparkling (tolerable). We had a nice room location overlooking the pool & ocean, but most rooms don't have such luxury. If you plan to spend time in the hotel - make sure to get that vs garden.

Close to bus routes. Sea and pool swimming and information about the harbour water quality. Free airport shuttle. View from standard room included canoe club and kite surfing activities. Close to Whole Foods wonderful supermarket and Maui Arts and Cultural Center. Hospitality room available after official checkout while waiting for flight.

The Maui Hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. When we needed something they delivered very fast. I highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely stay there again. The swimming pool was super clean and the view of the ocean and mountains was great. The hotel is located near many restaurants and shops walking distance.

I like everything.

The common area and pool were beautiful. There was live Hawaiian music on Friday night with free wine/snacks. The view into the bay was lovely. Great place to stay near the airport either after a late flight or before the flight out. I stayed in a room away from the common area, which didn't look as nice as the more centrally located rooms, but it was comfortable and clean.

There's but much going on in the sounding area, which is one of the reasons I was so pleasantly surprised when I actually went into the hotel.
