The property has multiple pools, jacuzzis and grills, although we didn't have the opportunity to make much use of them while we stayed. The kitchenette was very adequate, and for longer stays with family, the convenience of a nearby grocery store and easy cooking options would make staying here very affordable. It was also very convenient to the touristy areas of Kona-Kailua without being too close. The sunset views from the edge of the property, particularly close to the golf course, were very well worth it the stroll.

The time share hustling was borderline unacceptable. Check in was efficient, but we were only given one room key despite 4 people per room. The idea was that in order to get more room keys, you had to talk to a Wyndham timeshare salesdrone, who made the conversation painful with the "what activities do you have scheduled? Oh we have a partner group that can take you to that, all you have to do is give up 2 hours of your vacation time and we can offer you a miserably laughable discount." I was as polite to these folks as I could be, but eventually had to flat out tell them I wasn't about to waste my vacation time listening to sales pitches and to just give me the activity fliers and keys.

This exceeded our expectations, especially at the price point! No direct beach access, but the pool area is great, and the additional activities located around the property were a huge bonus. We stayed for a week and used the tennis courts, gym, and BBQ areas very regularly. It's also walking distance to a shopping center with nice restaurants and a grocery store, which was a huge bonus. We are already looking at when we can come back to visit!

Unit location provided beautiful susnset views and was close to pool and chair, umbrella, kid toy rental shop. We were close to bar / restaurant but did not use this facility as we had four toddlers with us.

We rented two units one unit for cash and one unit was a time share exchange. The units were about a city block apart and the time share unit required climbing stairs. It would have been nice if the time share unit was next to or above the rental unit. However our children and grandchildren - party of four used the time share unit and it was good value.

We have been staying for three weeks on Hawaii and among the places we stayed, this was clearly the best. Reasonable price, large and clean room. We stayed in the 2BR apartment and everything was provided, even small salt and pepper shaker, dishwasher and washer detergents (which was not always the case in other properties). We are more than happy to come again.

The location could be a bit more central. Downtown Kona is 10-15mins away by car. This is probably, why the property is priced a bit cheaper. Overall since we had a car we did not find this to be a show stopper.

We booked the Kona Coast Resort at the last minute. After our flight home via California was cancelled, we decided to stay in Kona 2 extra nights, It was extremely difficult to find a reasonably priced placed to stay, so we were really happy when this accommodation showed up on booking.com. Kona Coast is some type of vacation club. I'm not really certain how the ownership works, but it seems to be managed by Wyndham and/or Shell Vacations. The unit we rented (318) was WONDERFUL. It was a 1 bedroom unit - 2 full bathrooms, living room, fully equipped kitchen and a stackable washer/dryer in the unit. - I'm guessing around 1,100 square feet. It was very clean. Bed was extremely comfortable (best bed I slept in during the trip!). Check in was very easy and check in staff very friendly. I'm not able to comment on any of the other facilities (restaurant, pools, kids club etc) as I didn't use them while I was there.

There was virtually nothing to dislike about this property except for the fact they do not have an elevator, and I do not believe you can request a specific unit there when booking, i.e. first floor if you are unable to do stairs. I could be wrong about that however. We were located on the third floor, so it was quite a lot of stairs if you're trying to tote luggage up. We were fortunate to have a vehicle that we could leave our large suitcases in and just pack a few things in a small carryon bag to tote up the stairs.

we were supposed to check in at 4pm, but we landed at 9am, they gave us the room free of cost and let us check in at 9:30am. it was amazing, also for the price, extremely affordable. we loved the place and will definitely stay here again. island activities helped me book luau at a great price and had all the details.

i wish it actually was on the coast, but the location was great. the facility was amazing. i honestly would not say that anything went poorly. it was amazing.

Great location, great view and grounds nice pool and jacuzzi. Excellent service every time we needed beach towels they were delivered right away and there was a follow up call. Great restaurant on site good food reasonable prices. we stay at a Wyndham property in Bethany Beach Delaware and know they are well managed

sauna was out of service but that’s like whining on the yacht. Pocket doors on bathroom kept coming off track

The entire place was amazing! The bedroom was huge with a king-size bed that was more comfortable than ours at home! 🤣 The bathroom shower was configured in the corner and perfect! The sink and closet were in a separate area outside the shower, which helped! The kitchen was gorgeous and had every amenity you would need. We cooked breakfast every day! The livingroom/diningroom with the table was very good quality! The highlight was the patio that overlooked the golf course and the Pacific Ocean! Everything was perfect!

The only thing I would change next time is a floor higher up. You could hear the women above us moving around every morning at 6 am. If nothing else was available, I wouldn't care and would happily stay on the bottom floor!

All of the condo facilities were very nice and we appreciated the full kitchen and full- size refrigerator. Plus the area around our condo was very quiet.

The bathtub was difficult to get into and out off (the front edge was way too wide and high), especially for my wife, who is 4' 8" tall. Also the dryer almost "ate" one of my T-shirts, and seemed to be rather old. Finally, the TV service provider, Spectrum, was sometimes difficult to engage, which took more time to access the channels that we wanted to view. (We had a similar problem with Spectrum at another condo that we stayed at.)

Close to snorkeling and swimming and restaurants. Very spacious condo/rooms. Friendly staff and good customer service.
