From location, to the staff, to the food at Trillium, the Grove is the only hotel I stay at when in Boise. I look forward to visiting Boise because of the Grove (mostly). They also have a great gym. There's really no "bad" location in Boise consider the size of the city itself, but at the Grove you're no more than a 7 minute walk from EVERYTHING you need to enjoy your stay immensely. If you're lucky enough to be there during Steelheads season, the arena is attached to the Grove with some "hidden" spots to see the game from a barstool.

The paid WiFi was somewhat spotty, but manageable.

Location was great, right downtown, loved the Basque Block, close to campus where attending orientation. Most staff were very friendly and helpful. Very walkable to restaurants, shops.

Check-in staff was pretty off-putting. Just asked for ID without even welcoming us to the hotel. The mattress wasn't as comfortable as most hotel mattresses and the pillows were like boulders. I asked for a smaller, softer pillow, but was left another couple of pillows that were the same huge pillows that weren't comfortable for me.

We love how the location is close everything we want to do, so we can valet our vehicle and not have to use it. Every staff we have had contact with has been nice, helpful and friendly. We are very particular about our beds and sleep very comfortably.

The bathroom had an odd design. It was awkward to use. Functional but awkward. There were dishes in hallway that didn't get picked up while we were there. A spare blanket in the room would have been nice. One more robe in the room would have been nice as well.

Came to this hotel for a weekend refresh and this hotel was better then I expected. This Hotel is like a one stop shop for all of your stay needs. I didn’t take advantage of all the amenities this hotel offers but the views are incredible, room service/food was great & I did get an hour massage at the spa from Christopher and that was easily the best massage experience of my life. From this one experience at this hotel I’m hooked and don’t think I would book anywhere else. Highly recommend

I loved the location of the hotel; the room we were in was high above the city and that was so romantic! I loved the cleanliness of the room and that they were able to accommodate some wine for our first night together as a married couple. Robes were included, plenty of towels, and easy to understand thermostat for the chilly night too.

I wish that the hotel included complimentary water bottles in the fridge instead of having to pay for overpriced water downstairs. I also wish the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers worked a bit smoother. They were difficult to dispense the liquid from.

The staff was incredibly helpful when we arrived late at night. They brought room service immediately, sensing our extreme hunger. The beds are positively wonderful as are the views. I can't imagine a better location to explore downtown Boise.

Rooms aren't very soundproof so we could hear rambunctious kids through the walls (for which I blamed a lack of supervision than the hotel). You have to control the TV via your smartphone - please bring back controllers!

location , amenities are awesome! I love the vibe. airport shuttle is wonderful! Holding luggage too. Staff is super friendly!

The flood on our floor with the fans blowing all day, night. The smell was bad. I wanted a room on a higher floor . Nope. Even though i was told back in March that my room was secured.

Had an awesome pool/hot tub along with a sauna and gym. It was attached to the plaza and Idaho arena which made exploring so easy as we never needed to drive. It’s just a 10 minute walk from the zoo which made for a great afternoon!

Our bathroom needed a little work, the shampoo pump was broken causing a slippery floor anytime we needed the shower and the fan was not working either.

The hotel was fabulous, staff very professional. A big thank you to them for accommodating our early check in request. Rooms were comfortable and quiet for sleeping. Quick and easy check in and check out.

The only thing about our room that was a bummer was that the coffee maker in the room didn't work.

we were hotel guest and went downstairs at 8:00 and was informed that since we did not have BREAKFAST RESERVATIONS it would be approximately 2 hrs. No where have I ever needed breakfast reservation or unable to eat at my hotel for breakfast - if this is required we should of been advised at checkin.
