Hilton Garden Inn Boise Downtown

The room was lovely and clean with nice modern finishes and furniture. I appreciated the layout and design and price! The bed was fairly comfy and we loved the location! It was very easy to walk to shops and restaurants nearby. The front desk employees were very kind and friendly! Alyssa helped us check in and texted to see if we needed anything shortly after we got in our room. Upon request, she gave some great recommendations on where we could go out to celebrate our anniversary. Thanks Alyssa!

We were on the 2nd floor and located near a busy road. The traffic noise was pretty bad! If you can request a higher level away from the street, it'd be perfect!

It was welcoming and well lite. It was very clean. I just had booked a different place through Booking.com that was not as described and that bad place was more money for the night than this Hilton Garden Inn (HGI). I left the other place after being in the place for 5 minutes. I also booked the HGI through Booking.com. The HGI had a cafe that was still open after 9pm. I ordered some tacos and they were excellent. The whole ambience was nice and welcoming. I could tell the staff cared about their jobs and their customers. The breakfast in the morning was a step above normal hotel breakfasts.

I really didn't find anything that I thought needing improving. I had just left a place that was mis-advertised on Booking.com. compared to the room I had just come from this was like staying at a hotel in a movie. I travel a lot and I thought the first place I visited on the Friday night was one of the worst places I have seen to stay and the HGI was, surprisingly one the better places I have experienced.

The facilities were very clean and comfortable. The single king room was a good size me and my partner. We slept comfortably after a long day on the road. The staff was friendly and my room was able to be booked quickly despite being a last minute stay. The amenities including the TV, wifi, and kitchenette worked great and made our stay all the more comforting!

The front desk staff was a bit stand off-ish and thought I wasn't 21 after looking at my ID (though I am 21+). An honest mistake though and the rest of the checking in process was smooth. The parking situation was also a downside of our stay because it cost and additional $15 per night instead of just being included in the overall price. I felt I had paid a lot already and then had to pay more for the parking.

Very friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast buffet lady. Nice big lobby and bar museum. Convenient swimming pool. Good parking garage. Drinks and food available.

Rooms a little loud at the roadside and loud AC. A little sterile restaurant and bar area. Payment process confusing. Reservation charge for two rooms plus charge on second credit card plus double fee for parking. We have to check again if everything will be settled soon.

The pricing for the breakfast was a bit misleading….told it was included but ended up costing an additional $30, if I would have know the breakfast wasn’t included I would have went to an outside restaurant rather than your buffet style warmed over breakfast

The location is awesome! It’s very comfortable and clean. We loved hanging in the lobby/bar area in the evenings. Nancy at the breakfast service was the nicest person. Ever!!!!

Some staff seemed bothered by our presence. We somehow managed to spend a lot more than anticipated on parking and the store in the lobby. noted: bring your own snacks. $4 goldfish crackers for your kid? (I could go on.)

Great facility, well-equipped rooms, friendly staff, very convenient location.

The decent breakfast buffet would be much better with fresh veggies. The city is surrounded by beautiful views; unfortunately, you can't see those views from the hotel (and we were at the top floor).

I feel parking should be FREE with your paid room!!! Taxes are already SO high on this industry tacking on parking is a disservice to all of us. ALSO the building ventilation system ran ALL NIGHT and was LOUD! It's NOT the room air rather the building as per the front desk. I called the desk and they sent someone to look and they couldn't do one thing about it. I do not like "white noise". QUIET is what is needed. Please find a way to quite the building ventilation in individual rooms.

Loved the location and the overall cleanliness of the hotel.

The person at the front desk was not very friendly as they offered no greeting when we walked in. She did not explain how the parking worked as we had to ask and never upsold breakfast as something that they could charge to our room.
