Chicago Marriott Suites Deerfield

I liked the size of the room. It had a door to separate the sleeping area.

Staff was a little edgy. Maybe a bad day. Breakfast was a little odd since it was bagged and for you. Plus you did not have a choice (thus I threw it out). The oddest part to me is: the grocery store everyone touches everything. So why do you bag it? Kind of a waste of money and time in my eyes. Pay to get bags Pay to have someone shop Pay to have someone sort and Pay to find that they did not like it. Please put it out let them choose.

Breakfast buffet pricey but totally worth it, upscale offerings and good variety. Room was luxurious. BIG plus was awesomely helpful staff, always smiling. Very safe and quiet area.

Room was great, but a little odd... tiny bathroom sink and counter, space taken up by full bathtub that I doubt is used much. Second foldout bed made up, don't know why. Sofa may have been better. Location was a bit trying... miles from anywhere commercial, in a vast sea of office parks that seem mostly deserted. Easy to get to airport... but quite a journey to get to town.

Everything was top of the line here, definitely a business first type of hotel. Very classy in that respect. All of the employees were very nice and accommodating. The room was big and very inviting. And if you like to exercise , the. Room was big and had a lot of different machines plus even free weights if that's your thing, plus free water and fruit. For breakfast you could order specifically what u wanted or choose from the many options that they had available.

I wish the pool was indoor.

The location of the hotel was perfect. The set up of the suite was nice. They had full size shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the shower.

The mini fridge in the room wasn’t working properly. The mattress on the pull out couch was not comfortable at all, I could feel the springs. the room was somewhat dusty. There were also some stains on the couch and bed sheets.The incidental fee was $50 a night. There was no complimentary breakfast. They had a buffet that was around $15.

Disappointed I can’t receive my Marriott reward points so I don’t think I will be using Booking.com again

Hidden location

When the restaurant host member walked upto my husband asking if he had a restaurant coupon very abruptly when all he did was walk in. He didn't even know what she was talking, he told her I'm paying cash then continued to follow him. A minute later he left. He already felt uncomfortable. When I complained to front desk (older woman w bun in hair) she said she would tell the Mgr but I knew she wasn't. Her expressions says. "I dont care". Also Carpets need to be shampoo.

Room was large and clean. Parking was near the doors and free. Lobby and general area was clean and architecturally appealing.

The hotel was a little hard to find off the main road. Better signage would help especially at night. Bag breakfast was somewhat substandard for this type hotel and did not meet expectations. Competitors have provided heated breakfast even during this pandemic. One elevator was out of service during the entire two day stay. This is not acceptable.

The room was much bigger than we expected, with two tv's, a sitting room, etc. The staff was accomodating when we asked for a lower floor. We were given an accessible room, which we did not need. The hotel was very quiet and clean. Good location.

The shower was the only negative, as it was a handheld in a stand-up shower, because we were given an accessible room.

Loved how quiet it was. Loved the room with the separate area for the bed. Nice bathroom, too!

I didn't know that you don't make the rooms anymore unless being asked to do so. Perhaps some communication about it? I don't mind but would have preferred to know so that I can make the bed myself (yes, I am that person :)). Some of the towels were very old and had holes from washing/drying too often.
