We had a wonderful experience at the Hampton In New Albany. Front desk staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. Property is clean and has a fantastic old town charm; it had an extra security at the front doors and large parking lot. Breakfast is very good, and breakfast area is exceptionally clean . Cofee is provided all day long. The room was wonderful, spacey and clean, confortable beds. Overall we liked the cleanless of the hotel. The location is very close to downtown New Albany.

Very friendly staff and great breakfast

I was using the bathroom in our room and had looked at the toiletries that were complementary and accidentally knocked over the mouthwash and it spilled everywhere and the lid came off. My friend and I hadn’t been opened any of the complementary toiletries so the mouthwash had to have already been used because to close the cap you snap it back on pretty harshly and there was also no seal on it.

overall modern/sleek design, breakfast area was outstanding (food was okay), side entrance near parking was convenient. No bugs that we noticed. Extra pillow and light blanket in closet. Checkout time was good.

The breakfast food could have been better made (the cinnamon waffle mix was really thick and didn’t dispense properly and we were there at almost start up of breakfast (maybe it was leftover). We would have liked a hot tub in the facility. Under the mattress/dust ruffle and floor was a little dirty (we always check for bedbugs and lift the entire mattress and such to check). Pricing could be a little better, it was a little pricey for us to just stay overnight an hour away from home after a wedding, maybe offer a local discount if you live within so many miles of the facility (I don’t know anyone who does this so you might be the first if you start). No extra ice bag for the morning, we didn’t bother with asking for one though).

Room was clean, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The bathroom could have used towel hooks closer to the shower, but that is common with all hotel rooms. The hotel was easy to get to and had plenty of restaurants in the area and was close to the hospital. Loved the raised edge above the sink.

Towel hooks closer to shower in bathroom. Beds needed shelves and plugs on both sides. What about some sort of fold down shelf with a gooseneck light? Even a small shelf to set a phone on would have been helpful. Also, changing the plug in the bathroom to one that had a built in night light would be amazing.

I booked this room as a surprise "Staycation" for my mother's birthday and was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness, amenities and aesthetic of this hotel especially for the price. The location is convenient, rooms are nice sized and the breakfast made it such a great value. Highly recommend and will stay again

Welcoming and friendly staff who greeted you as you arrived. We had a large corner room near the elevator but we heard no elevator traffic. There was a corner hall in our room placing our main room away from any noise. Easy access to I-64 as well as downtown New Albany. Room was extremely clean and they refreshed the towels for us the second day without asking. Management texted me several times asking if I needed anything...good touch. We recommend staying here.

Ran out of hot and cold breakfast items with an hour to go both days. American fries the first day...unknown the second as it was already cleaned up when I arrived. Yogurt was also gone in the second day. I would think if you had an hour left you would keep it stocked. There were many people coming after us who also missed out. However, what they had was very good. Various selections of hot and cold breakfast made this a very good breakfast. Friendly wait staff.?

All the new updates was good, the beds were comfortable, lots of outlets and stuff for phone charging and stuff, good breakfast, good location,

Our room was a little bit small, but the other people I was with their room was pretty good,,, and there were no vending machines, you have to go all the way down to the desk to buy anything, the third hotel I've stayed in that have took away the vending machines, I absolutely hate it, I would much rather walk down to the end of the hall and buy something then have to take an elevator all the way down to the front desk

The bed was really nice. Room size was nice.

The bathroom although big. Was not set up very well. The toilet was right next to the shower making it difficult to access the water control. There was some rust at the bottom of the shower door. Also signs of a previous leak on the ceiling.

The staff was friendly and the common areas very clean. The breakfast was good for hotel breakfast. This was a great pick for the wedding that we were attending.

The bathroom in my room was not as clean as it should have been. There was hair still in the shower and on the vanity. I also ran out of toilet paper. There was not an extra roll in the room either.

The staff were very nice and the location was very nice. The breakfast was nice although I did not get the potatoes and eggs but it was very nice and clean in the breakfast area.

I do believe the room could have been a little cleaner vacuum wise. Otherwise a pretty decent night's sleep..
