The person serving the hot breakfast was a real chef who has a second job at the races where he has served 8 former Presidents. Eggs, sausage or bacon, coffee, fruit juices, and more every morning. Our bed was fluffy and had enough pillows. Plenty of free parking. I forgot to take a picture of it, but a long bench to sit on for putting on shoes etc. in our room and over the bench were three double hooks for hats and coats. I have never seen this in a hotel before. Desk chair and a desk. Very large flat screen TV. with a good collection of stations to watch. Cleaning service everyday. They did not throw away the bar of soap that you were still using. They replaced the box of kleenex when it was empty. Plenty of towels and toilet paper. Good lighting: reading lamp over a nice chair, bedside lamps, hall light, desk lamp, large lighted mirror in the bathroom. Internet worked most of the time. Safe in the room. Ironing board and iron. Hair dryer. Ice machine on every floor. Getting across the bridge to downtown Louisville took at the most 20 minutes. Lots of restaurants on the New Albany side not far by car from the hotel. It was great staying in a location with small town vibe across the bridge from a larger one.

The pool was closed. I was told that the problem was fixed, but the health department had not come back to reopen it officially. We were at the hotel four nights, Fri-Mon. Internet was glitchy because the security on our devices said it was too open.

Convenient and Clean The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very clean with full-size bathing products and plenty of clean towels. The staff was knowledgeable, kind, and very helpful. There is freshly brewed coffee all night! The morning breakfast was incredible, so many options to choose from. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Kay is with the first-floor maiden service. She is friendly, thoughtful, and thorough. It shows she cares and enjoys her position. An honest true asset!! Thank you Kay for making my stay relaxing.

the staff was incredibly helpful, considering I booked the room, but it wasn't on their computers. this is because booking.com has outdated information on the hotel. they did what they could but it was evident that booking.com wasn't being helpful at resolving the situation.

waiting for an hour as the front desk and booking.com tried to figure out how my hotel reservation disappeared, and then having to pay extra, because booking.com wouldn't give the front desk crucial info on the reservation. still not entirely sure I've been reimbursed yet, but I was assured that I would be for having to pay for the same hotel room twice.

So the first night of our stay, the property called us to say that Booking.com overbooked. They were still kind enough to find us room. mind you, I think this was the busiest the hotel had been and they tried to ready the room and accommodate us when on their end, things were less than ideal. So there was no phone in the room and no TV reception; and breakfast the next morning was not too great. However the property went out of its way to be over the top excellent the next evening. we had everything we needed and a hot breakfast with plenty of food, fresh eggs, potatoes and pancakes. it was a great experience. they were friendly and listened to all of our concerns/complaints without incident.

The hotel staff was wonderful. The breakfasts were great with hot and cold options. The location to downtown New Albany was great because we could walk downtown to restaurants and shopping. The rooms were roomy, clean and comfortable bed.

The only place to sit outside was a bench which was mainly occupied by smokers. I wish there had been a place to gather outside. We were traveling with family and it would have been nice to sit outside in some chairs to take in the beautiful weather.

My wife and I have always stayed at this hotel because of its location. Everything is within driving distance which is a plus. The breakfast is ok but the staff is great, love socializing with them. They always asking if there's anything we need.

It was definitely great for us,due to being on the move constantly. It was hot and had everything you could ask for in a breakfast. Not to mention the lady who checked me and my daughter in was wonderful even though I'm not sure of her name. But she was welcoming when we showed up around 1015 on a Friday

The only thing I can think of is having breakfast open up a tad bit earlier, since we were at a 14 u softball tournament playing at 6 in the morning sometimes

Hotel was perfect for getting into Louisville for the Bourbon Trail

Booking failed to communicate my reservation with the hotel - fortunately there were rooms available, however; had to jump through hoops to get the original rate (but this is on Booking not Holiday Inn - the hotel was great)

The breakfast is always good. Hats off to the lady that does the breakfast. Excellent job. Bed was comfortable and room was clean; nice and clean.

Remote didn't work. Staff did come and replace batteries but batteries did not last. We were out and came back to hotel later, and tried remote but did not work. Had to work TV manually.

Food was ok, breakfast bar was well stocked. The location was perfect for us.

We had a group of people with us si maybe a few more chairs outside would of been nice. We just sat in lobby area in the evening which was fine.
