We loved everything! The stay, hotel, and staff were all great. Super convenient location just off of the interstate, with no interstate noise pollution that we could hear. The included breakfast was really great, too! This is also the first Hilton property I’ve stayed at that provided robes & slippers, which was a fun little perk. Our dog didn’t join us on this trip, but saw several during our stay. It’s so great how pup-friendly they are! They even have squeaky toys for sale in the gift shop area. :) I will absolutely stay here if I ever need to stay in DSM again!

I love the overall vibe of the hotel with the decor that paid homage to Iowa's farming culture. The room was nicely sized, clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is located in West Des Moines so it was an easy 15 minute drive to Drake University.

The shower isn't private. The shower and sink are in a nook that is open to the room while the toliet is in a separate room with a door. It's easy enough to give people their privacy when showering by staying in the bed area but wanted others to know.

Beautiful facility, clean, staff was excellent. Liked the Breakfast accommodations. Bar area was awesome. Would stay again!

Shower area in room, not private... maybe a privacy film at least. Bar food was good, but strange food options, definitely not kid friendly or for those with a pretty plain palette. Also seating in bar not very accommodating for plus size persons. Bed was much better than most but could use a topper maybe.

my top priorities while staying at any hotel are as follows- 1. cleanliness 2. friendliness of staff 3. extra perks. the hotel was able to accommodate my early arrival, helped coordinate an airport shuttle, and always greeted me with a smile. the room was immaculate and always well serviced. there was also a fully equipped gym, as well as a VERY good breakfast. I’m never impressed by hotel breakfasts but this one was great. As a single, traveling female, I felt safe & I would stay here again in a heart beat.

Loved the room. perfect for 1-2 people. Loved the details of robes, slippers and small, lit, magnified makeup mirror. Loved 12pm checkout time (instead of industry standard 11am). Loved the breakfast.

Given the layout of the bathroom area (king bed room), a frosted shower door would be nice. Didn’t matter since I was alone but not much privacy and sort of ‘in your face’ if with another person!

Staff was excellent. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is beautiful. The doors are heavier than expected, and there is the open shower issue. That wasn't a problem for us. I did go through booking.com, and have had an extra charge issue that the hotel wasn't able to help with as I had booked externally. I would stay here again.

Amazing! Right when you walk in it’s gorgeous! Friendly staff and great amenities. Bar was amazing. Bed was super comfy. My girlfriend and I slept like babies. Robes and slippers were super comfy. Very homey as well.

Breakfast didn’t look like a good selection. But we also got some towards the end of breakfast.

This new property was exceptional in all ways. We appreciated the excellent service and delicious food in the restaurant. We had a delicious evening meal and a fine breakfast. I meant every excellent rating I marked, it was that good.

Nothing, absolutely no complaints.

Restaurant food was exceptional.

Shower was in a full sized tub that you had to step into. Several safety bars but the tub was very slippery (no mat or safety strips). Very limited staff. We had to find someone to check us in. Breakfast buffet had been sitting for some time by 8:45 am.

This property is extremely convenient and very well maintained. The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. The breakfast is AWESOME!

No complaints. We choose this hotel over all there any time we are in Des Moines
