Quality Inn & Suites Lawrence - University Area

We picked this place for the pool and hot tub. The pool was heated! The hot tub was nice, not super hot though. But that meant I could soak longer without overheating! The bathrooms are a little snug, but the shower water pressure was good! The room was cozy and the beds were comfortable.

The breakfast was just ok. It's probably a pretty standard continental breakfast, we are just used to a little more options. But you get what you pay for, overall we were pretty satisfied with our stay.

Location

Only the front desk had a almost empty bottle of hand sanitizer. All other sanitizer stations were empty. The most unsanitary thing I saw morning after morning was in the breakfast room guest and workers operating without washing or hand sanitizing hands. Bread is being pack out with bare hands, guests is taking bread out of container with bare hands. Covid is still very much alive people.

the property itself was great. The fridge was warm with no dial to turn up the temperature. There was food in it from the last guest who had stayed in the room. The breakfast was not very good. The sausage was not cooked thoroughly, the orange juice was brownish in color but, the coffee was great!

The concierge Cher made helpful accomodations for my mom who was not able to walk around for a long period of time. Cher was very pleasant and helped with the leaky sink by informing the maintenance workers right away. Maintenance manager fixed it right away. The house keeping employees were also very nice as well asked if we needed anything like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Cher would greet us and asked how we were doing and if everything was going well.

The rain from a storm passing through entered into the room from the window. The left side was wet. . The facet leaked first night there. It was dreadful to hear the water drip onto the carpet after using it.

This is the most conveniently located hotel for us to visit our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter in Lawrence, Kansas.

The lighting in the room is a bit dim for reading at night. Easily fixed by brighter bulbs. My mattress was a bit soft and slightly low on one side.

The pool The breakfast The friendly staff The room was a safe and cool relaxing zone when outside was too hot. It is a perfect little home away from home when visiting our college student. Going on year 3 and every stay is exceptional.

The bathroom was very small and you could barely close the door, but thy room was large and clean

The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet and nicely decorated. I used Booking.com for my reservations and obtained the room for an extended stay at an excellent price. They have a good sized pool which looked very clean and very friendly and helpful staff.

The exterior of the outbuilding where I stayed was abit worn but the updated interior was very nice. The breakfast offerings were quite limited.

Pool was not crowded--our grandkids loved it!! Nice variety of items for breakfast. Staff very responsive. Clean!

Tub/toilet area seemed crowded.

Seems to be very clean. Large room, usually pretty quiet. Can park right to your door.

Would like a little more disabled accessable, especially in the bathroom. But I'm sure they have more disabled accessable rooms than what we were in.
