Very clean and it appeared to be recently updated. Room was basic but all that I needed. Instant hot water and plenty of it. Clean towels every morning. AC was working perfectly. I stayed at this facility years ago when it was under a different franchise. This (Motel 6) surpasses the previous venue by leaps and bounds.

There needs to be more signage to get to the motel. My GPS found it but the access road was unmarked. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not. I missed the email about amenities and I did not bring my hair dryer. A pony tail was my look for the weekend.

The property is centrally located to Berea College and the Kentucky Arts/Craft Center. It is close to shopping (15 min.), and there is food nearby (Mexican, BBQ, etc.) The reception desk man who greeted me was friendly and helpful. I also liked the retro vibe of the room (70s feel/decor).

The corridor can be quite noisy when folks are getting in and out of their rooms/cars. Once they are inside all is well. I wish the window blackout curtain went a little further down the window because light passes along the bottom. I wish the bath towels were heavier.

Room 116 was nice, big and for our one night it was perfectly appointed. We didn't need fancy, just a good night's sleep. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. AC worked well. Staff were friendly and accommodating for our last minute booking. Grounds were clean and area was convenient to highway. We would stay there again.

Room 116 Bath: we did not have shampoo/conditioner bottles shower curtain looked very dirty and stained at the bottom. The shower seat was too low and hard to seat on and mounted too far back on the tub. Shower wand holder would not hold the shower head upright. Room 116 TV remote control did not work.

The staff is great!

I was wearing Velcro shoes that made a walk around the property both challenging and humiliating ;totally made me look like window licking, mouth breather. Im pretty sure it was my shoes that caused me to get punched in the face at a local buffet by a dude name Randy. Don’t really remember much about it other than the guy’s fist smelled like meatloaf ( the food, not the singer)

The layout of the room! The modern style of the room making it feel more updated! It was also a well priced room! The location of the property and how quiet it was on the grounds! Restaurants and gas stations are very accessible!

The receptionist in the lobby, upon my check in was extremely rude, and dismissive of of me! The toilet wouldn’t flush! And there not being a refrigerator!

Right off the main highway, it was relatively easy to find this motel. The room was clean, the a/c was perfect, and the dining/study table was cute. The motel is around the corner from the center of Berea so you can checkout the local craft scene and visit the college. It is also very close to a BBQ restaurant.

The other guests who came with their loud motorcycles woke everyone up. The vehicles were very load (roughly 12 of them). When they went to their rooms, they used loud voices. :( The motel has a pool, but is filled-in with dirt. I found this peculiar.

Reviews said clean. It was exactly that basic but clean. For the low rate it exceeded our expectations. Had 3 rooms. Travelling with show dogs. We have booked to stay enroute home next week. Office staff friendly

No food place open .. 8 pm on a Sunday. But only 1 exit back on highway there were a few options

there’s not a lot going on it’s berea but the amenities need work but expected for the price. no modern vending items or things like that.

reception not as friendly as was the manager, who checked us in last week. after explaining why we had to have ground floor was told there was 3rd room avail but bit more. that resolved our issue. we each had 2 dogs and it was not possible to get their crates to 2nd floor walk up

Managers were exceptional. Friendly, helpful, present! In addition to coffee in the morning, they had tea bags available. As a tea drinker, I get ignored frequently! They also had a list of the tv channels available which was super helpful.

Pillows were too thin and soft.
