Our room or should I say home away from home was the largest and most beautiful room I have stayed in all my years of travel. Oh hell the shower was bigger than most of my hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. Rich and Carol were the best hosts that anyone would ever want. The breakfast were unique and delicious. The pool was very relaxing after a day of tastings and travel. Plus we were able to get away from our home earlier than expected for our Bourbon Trail and Golf Tournament so we called and Rich and Carol worked their magic and got us in for two extra days. If you are traveling through Kentucky this is a must stop and perfect location for the Bourbon Trail.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

The host, Rich, was so personable. He shared a history of the house along with a tour. He shared his working art studio. The pool was beautiful. The rooms were very big and comfortable. Breakfast was hot, fresh, and delicious! The original artwork throughout the house was delightful!

We were only booked for one night. I wish we could have stayed longer.

It was the perfect location for visiting the distilleries on the bourbon trail. The room, pool and hosts were great. We were there for 4 days and the breakfasts were amazing and different each day. This is the perfect place to stay for every reason. And bonus, the artwork!!!!

We had to leave.

June 2021 — We learned of this B&B when we planned a visit to Maker’s Mark on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail & were looking for nearby accommodations. I’m so thankful that we found Wildflower Ranch Inn! It is a magnificent historic home. The owners are artists & have used their creativity to make a beautiful oasis. The lovely antique furnishings, creaky polished poplar floors, gorgeous staircase, beautiful bedrooms, inviting common areas, owners’ original artworks, & incredible views of the surrounding countryside made for a great stay. And the beautiful pool is an added plus. Owner Carol Henry made a fabulous frittata breakfast for us. It was the best meal we had had since we left home in California! I would highly recommend this unique bed & breakfast!

The 151 yr old house was beautifully remodeled but still had all the original touches. The owners were so nice and welcoming as soon as we arrived. Carol did an amazing job greeting us for breakfast and her food, amazing.

Beautiful historic property filled with the gorgeous art of the owners. Great location close to Bardstown and Makers Mark Distilleries,and nestled into the rolling hills of the Kentucky countryside. Rich and Carol were wonderful hosts, and the breakfast each morning was excellent. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Rich and Carol were very kind and welcoming hosts. The room was beautiful and warm and welcoming, the pool was beautiful and clean, an excellent way to end a day of tour bourbon distilleries! Breakfast Was delish!

If you are visiting Bardstown for a bourbon tour adventure, this is an excellent place to stay. A bit out of the way, but the beauty of the property, the cleanliness of the home and welcoming atmosphere are well worth the drive. Will definitely be back the next time we are in Bardstown

Our visit was too early in the Spring to enjoy the amazing swimming pool...next time!

Breakfast was a culinary delight every morning! Hosts were super friendly and accommodating. Will recommend to others and plan to return when we’re in Kentucky again.
