This is a unique & fun B & B to stay in. The owner is very personable & accommodating. The rooms were comfortable & the breakfasts were tasty too. The jail tour was fun & offered some fun behind bars pics. I'd definitely stay here again!

We were booked for 3 nights. We stayed in 1 room 1 night & had to switch to a different room the last 2 nights but the owner made the transition easy so it wasn't a big deal. It was actually nice to experience 2 different rooms. The first room was my favorite though

Staying at the Jailer's Inn was such an awesome and interesting experience! Who would have thought that people will actually be willing to book a stay at an old Jail and enjoy it?! It was a memorable experience with clean amenities and alot of history. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating and we even had a friendly bunny Max on site to help eat some of our blueberries from breakfast! Paul the Jailer was a hoot! Will definitely want to stay again.

We loved EVERYTHING! The room was so comfortable and they refreshed it daily which doesn’t happen anymore and was totally unexpected. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious and was accompanied by bits of history about the property. We will be back.

Breakfast was really lovely. Very hospitable staff. Pretty setting! The tour of the jail was great!

While the room was cozy and comfortable, it needs a little freshening up. Remove fake flower arrangements ( maybe a bud vase with something like a cut fern or flower in it... not expensive to do in the spring/summer. In the fall something dried and winter, a sprig of evergreen.) Also not a fan of creepy framed photo and angel figurines. Maybe a slight upgrade with candy...like a couple of bourbon balls or something regional for a treat in the candy dish. Rethink some of these inexpensive ideas to freshen things up a bit! A monogrammed notepad ( stationary) and local interest pamphlet would be nice in the room,too. Just sayin'...

The owner was super nice, the decor was perfect, we enjoyed the tour,, breakfast in the courtyard was delicious, and Max! Planning to be repeat offenders and do time here again sometime.

The mattress wasn't very comfortable, very worn, and could use an upgrade.

Very unique property with excellent staff and customer service. We had to leave before breakfast service started and the manager made sure we left with our hands full of fresh made muffins.

Bring your own pillow - only issue we had was that the pillows were small hard foam squares.

Great location in the heart of Bardstown. Unique hotel that takes you back in time. The morning breakfast in the courtyard was delicious and the staff went out of their way to give you the history and tour of the jail.

A larger bathroom would have been nice but understand when converting a jail to a living space you only have so much room. Our room had no windows so it was hard to tell when the sun came up.

We arrived late, having let them know that we wouldn't be there before the 8 pm deadline and we're checked in cheerfully and with all of the information we needed. She let us know we could tour the existing jail portion whenever we wanted and there would be a guided tour after breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was a wonderful light breakfast of fruit and individual breakfast casseroles with coffee and juice. Served promptly at 9am. It was lovely! Everyone was friendly, both the proprietors and other guests. We loved it! Thr town was also lovely, great shops to look in and lots of things to do. We were unfortunately only there for one day but we'll be back!!

Honestly everything exceeded our expectations. We had a lovely stay. I will say that you should be ok with the age of the building. There are quirks and it's not a perfectly clean place. Everything was clean and in working order.

It was the nicest B&B that I have ever stayed at! The staff was great, everything was spotless & the room was very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. The breakfast that was served was exceptional.
