Mike, the Front Desk Guy on checkin, was great to talk to and very efficient in his work. I reported some very minor problems to him and he got on it pretty quickly. Very impressed with cleanliness of my room and the furnishings, was nice and cool too, my dog loved it too. Noticed heavy police presence in the area, Dairy Queen next door and they like ice cream too. :) Have stayed at this hotel each year Labor Day Weekend and never felt unsafe ever. This town has always been known for their friendly people, very historic homes and buildings there, well taken care of, speaks highly of a city/town.

This was a Baymont Hotel before Clarion took it over, and the doors on each end, north and south, didn`t work real well, possibly an electrical connection in the keycard system...I would have thought when Clarion took over the building, they would have fixed or improved upon that problem, but they apparently did not, because each time I entered on the south side of the building, I had the same problem, entered the card like five times before it would give me a green light. A buddy of mine was entering the north side door and had the same problem. Security is a big thing, but so is convenience.

The staff was friendly and helpful, giving us information on things we needed to find in the area. The room was very clean and comfortable. I liked that the shower had a seat in it.

The window covering kept anyone from being able to see in. However, it did not block sunlight. They didn't have any drapes to pull over it, which meant I was awake earlier than I needed or wanted to be. Also, there's no elevator.

I did not have the breakfast but after check in, we discovered our room was in the second floor. I traveled with my handicapped mother that can’t walk up stairs. Once we notified the front desk, they were gracious enough to see if there were any other rooms even though they were booked. It just so happened they had one more room, which was handicap accessible. Awesome job to the front desk clerk, who happened to be newer.

Went to the area to look at RV's. This was a good, close place to stay and the price was good. Room was clean. They were doing some remodeling, so had to overlook a few things. Clean place to sleep was the main thing and it met that.

There was no soap, none! Front desk lady did finally find a bar in an empty room after looking in a few empty rooms. Was very grateful for that! Again, they are remodeling, and the place is changing to Clarion Pointe. Queen mattress was VERY uncomfortable and noisy, like the insides were broke. Curtain valance was half off the ceiling and wall and barely hanging on. Sheer curtains were in shreds, where they were dry rotted. Figured these things just hadn't been upgraded yet.

Rooms were updated very well, fairly sound proof, and the shower / bathroom was great !! Staff was very efficient and friendly, had no problems at all, security was good as well, always worry about my pickup with a tonneau cover that cannot be locked, but nothing was tampered with, lighting on the parking lot is good. This hotel is much better than it was a few years ago as the Baymont.

clean, quiet, cozy

poor breakfast. both coffee carafes were only lukewarm, and we were there at 6:30 AM. There were only three apples in the whole place, for everyone, and I had seen them in that bowl the night before. everything was clean and available, but just not hot for the coffee.

Staff was very pleasant! The room was very spacious. Beds were very comfortable.

Didn't like that we were under the light of the awning all night. Would have liked the warning on that room. Although the room was spacious and wonderful being under the light all night was kind of a bummer.

It was good. Would have enjoyed cream cheese with the bagels. The room was so big, and wonderful. The bed was terrific and so comfortable!

The sink area needed more room. The bag I travel with was too big to fit on the sink.

The room was very homie and clean. We enjoy staying there. The staff is really nice.

There wasn't much we didn't like about the room. The other guests were a little loud and slamming doors but that is not the hotels fault.

This property is AMAZING!! Very clean and the lady at the desk had a wonderful accent and sense of humor!

The only thing I didn’t like about the property was that I had to get up out of that soft bed the next day! There is nothing not to like about it!
