It was a newer hotel so everything was nice and well decorated. The bathroom was nice, clean and had plenty of room.

It was right next door to the Ark Encounter but that's pretty much it. There was not a lot of choices as far as dining in Williamstown. It would also be nice if Hampton would have put some sort of outdoor patio on to the inn since it was a nice evening and there was no where outside to enjoy it. The rooms didn't seem to have a lot of sound proofing because we could here almost everything going on in the halls and we could also here our neighbors talking.

Hotel still had that new home smell. Very clean and new. The room was very nice. The elevator was so smooth, you didn't feel it move. Well lit. Easy to find. Right next door to a major attraction but you can't see that attraction from hotel. Very nice building.

Cons, had to pay to park at hotel (I have yet to find the price of parking mentioned on their booking site) I was charged $29 and some odd cents when I checked in. The person who checked me in said that amount was for incidentals. When I asked at checkout if I would get the $29+ refunded to me (no receipt provided) they told me that it was only $25. When I told them that I was charged $29+ I was told "Oh, well it costs $3 to park here" The math doesn't add up. Nowhere on the receipt they provided at checkout shows that they charged me anything at all upon check-in. I had prepaid for the room.

Location was perfect, we could walk to the Ark Encounter and trust me when you have an electric wheelchair that is SO incredibly helpful. Staff was amazing, handicap rooms were the perfect size for storing equipment. Breakfast was filling but also with lots of Variety. Manager himself could be seen helping the staff and talking to guests.

My only wish was that y'all had a hot tub!! After walking all day at the Ark, having someplace to soak our tired muscles would have been perfect.

All that is needed is access via the fence to the Ark Encounter, if the Ark Encounter people allowed it. It's that close. Location says it all. Staff were very helpful. No shampoo or conditioner in the room, but when notified they brought some up ASAP. Breakfast was varied and suitable to for diets. Kids were easily accommodated here. Even though there were LOTS of kids here, they could not be heard in the rooms. Very good insulation, apparently.

Even though it's a new hotel and clean for the most part, we had some soap stains in the shower, etc. and lack of supplies leads me to believe that cleaning was hurried. But there are a ton of people who come through this hotel, so I imagine that turnover of rooms is fast.

Breakfast was good, location was adjacent to Ark Encounter and we were able to walk through a gate into the parking lot which was convenient.

This is a pet friendly hotel, guests in next room brought 2 dogs and left them unattended and they barked and howled non-stop. Front desk did call the guests about returning to tend to their animals and they relocated us, but was still an inconvenience that shouldn't have been.

The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was delicious!!! The staff was very helpful ad the beds were very comfortable. If you are traveling to the ark encounter I would recommend staying here because you are in walking distance.

If the area the hotel was located in had more restaurants we had to drive to the next town which was not that far away for dinner. Other then that there was nothing that I did not like about my stay.

We encountered only one minor problem. We needed to cancel the 2nd night of our stay due to unforseen circumstances. Hotel staff said we needed to go through booking.com. Contacted Booking.com. Booking.com was supposed send an e-mail to the property cancelling the 2nd night. When I checked the next morning upon checkout, a different hotel staffer said it was unnecessary and took care of it right at the desk.

The lack of understanding on how to alter the reservation by both Booking.com and hotel staff.

We liked the room! It was very nice and modern! The fact that you could just walk through the gate to the Arc was really nice--no parking fee! Loved the color scheme! Bed was comfortable and everything was nice and clean! Breakfast was also a good choice in the morning! The pool area was a nice touch!

The pool was too small for the size of the hotel! It was nice and clean but very small. It was overcrowded and very loud with children screaming!! You could barely move around without hitting someone!

The parking was easy. Located next door to the Ark encounter. Save your money on parking and walk. The room was large.

We didn't get a view of the ark. They didn't tell us we could save money on parking at the hotel and walking to the ark. The breakfast room does not have enough seating for the crowds that stay there. There wasn't enough breakfast during the rush hour times. There are too many children in the pool. No outdoor seating areas.

Location was PERFECT for the Ark Encounter visit. Breakfast was good and staff were quick to replenish so that nothing ran out. Beautiful hotel, glad I got to stay when it had just opened. Indoor pool is very convenient, right off the lobby.

Just a better price. A little on the high end for a Hampton Inn as I've known them. $200/night all in but booked with no cancellation or change privileges.
