The location was perfect; off the beaten track & nice & quiet. We loved the delicious breakfast that was delivered to our room. We dined on our deck, which was so lovely. The cookies at the front desk were certainly appreciated for a late night snack! Our room was so spacious & comfortable; we loved the antique furniture.

Not sure if anything can be done about this-my husband has limited mobility issues so the stairs were challenging. But the staff was so kind in giving us a room on the second floor instead of the third floor.

The location was awesome! We were off the beaten path, but close enough to walk to everything. The room was quaint and comfortable. Bringing breakfast to the room was great, but I wouldn't have minded eating with others downstairs.

My only complaint is not having anyone to help with bags. We had 5 med-large bags and had to walk up the 3 flights of stairs. For a 66 year old heart attack survivor, that was challenging. We didn't know the setup, so didn't know to ask for a room on a lower floor.

My room was exceptionally large and gorgeous. I loved the front porch! The location was perfect for Bar Harbor. Also, since I was traveling with friends it was nice to have motel rooms that were cheaper for those on more of a budget.

The breakfast menu had a number of choices, but it was the same list every day. I would have preferred a scramble/quiche type of dish occasionally. Also, the downstairs drawing room was only open from 9-8:00. I found this odd (it must be because of noise) but frustrating as I like to read downstairs later at night.

We stayed in #9 Strath Eden. I was a lovely room on the 3rd floor with a comfy king bed, television, little lounge chair and a little table and chairs that we sat at to plan our day and to have breakfast each morning before going out. The complimentary breakfast was very good and we got to pick what we wanted each day. The bathroom was clean and functional. We were just a short walk to Main Street to enjoy the downtown shopping, restaurants and bars.

Going up the stairs to the 3rd floor was a little bit of a work out. We were in decent shape for 60+ years old, but older folks may have had an issue with that many steps.

We loved this stay. We have stayed in 4 star resorts that did not have the facilities or the charm and functionality that Motel Room 10 had. The staff was wonderful. Love the 24 hour access and especially fresh brewed coffee for the early trips to Acadia and Cadillac Mountain. The location was the best in Bar harbor.... You really can walk to anywhere. Fabulous. The size of the room was magnificent. We cannot say enough about room 10. Plus it is on the first floor and parking is FREE and right in front of the room. These days when Marriott (even way away form a big city charges $18 a night to park this is a very special benefit of Moseley Cottage. Easy to change room temp. Fridge worked well. Again -- Location--Location--Location. For you cat lovers.... there is a very friendly black kitty next house over... has a collar so this kitty is owned but really sweet.

Nothing was wrong. It was perfecto. Would stay here again,.

The inn is charming, and the staff and owners were lovely. Our room in the motel also had the cleanest bathroom I've ever seen traveling. It's right downtown - a short walk around the corner to Blaze for wood-fired pizza and, one street (Hancock) over in the opposite direction, to the access trail to the Shore Path for sunrise viewing.

That we had to leave early because we got COVID.

The location of the inn was outstanding. Right off of Main St. and everything is just a couple blocks away.

The room was large enough but the bathroom facilities were dated. Breakfast was too expensive for what you got so we went elsewhere.

Very clean, very nice plush towels and bedding. Exceptional housekeeping. Appreciated the coffee bar. Location was key. History of the home was intriguing.

Very basic accomodations in the hotel wing. We thought we were staying inside the inn from the booking photos. We were given a room in the "motel" annex. Expected it to be more quaint, exceptional for the price.

breakfast was full offering of eggs pancakes bacon etc which is way more than what I normally eat just a protein bar. They also serve it to you in your room to eat in jammies and privacy. Loved the ambiance of the antique house and room. Pam was a very gracious hostess.

Nothing it far exceeded our expectations
