The Harbourside Inn was located in the Northeast Harbor, a quiet place away from the busyness of Bar Harbor. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, and the Inn itself was comforting, charming, and clean. The light breakfast was a wonderful way to start each day, and the fruit was outstandingly fresh!

The key to the room was a skeleton key, probably because the building is so old, but I will say that it made it very difficult to lock and unlock the door. They did have a door stop mechanism for extra security, but it was just a small nuisance. If this is what we are complaining about, it must have been a great stay!

I loved my stay here! The property is beautiful and the room was very comfortable. Location is great away from the bustle of Bar Harbor but still very close to Acadia (and other local hikes that were less busy!). I enjoyed walking into town for dinner each night and had several great meals, and also a fun boat ride withe Princess Cruises. Definitely recommend checking out Thuya Gardens/Asticou Terraces only a few minutes away.

It would have been nice to have an in-room coffee maker, or a Keurig in the public area. I left very early 2 out of 3 mornings to go hiking and coffee was not available yet. Also, the driveway is a little scary to pull out of while driving, and so was crossing the road on foot to get to the sidewalk to town due to fast moving cars and a somewhat blind curve. Not really sure what can be done about it but it did stress me out a little, haha! Very minor inconveniences on an otherwise lovely visit.

Easy to find location near to Northeast Harbor and not far from Bar Harbor. Beautiful old house and area. Near walking trails that led to Hammock Pond ((I think that was the name). They provided muffins and fruit each morning as well as granola bars that could be taken. Nice tea selection. Friendly staff. Ample parking. Good water pressure in shower.

Maybe some anti-slip mat or pad in the bath or shower would help for older folks. I would've liked a bit more at breakfast like some cereal or yogurt, but what they provided was nice.

Beautiful place, it was so charming and cozy! The staff and other guests were so friendly and helpful. We loved the grab-and-go breakfast that we could hit on our way out to a hike, and the fire pit out back was a great spot to relax and meet new people in the evenings.

Our room got a bit hot during the day from the sun shining in through the windows since there was no AC, but our lace curtains were nice because they blocked the direct sun while still letting a lot of light in.

This is a B&B. We had the third floor room . Quiet. Great scenery around the facility. Nice wood collar fireplace at night to relax. It was a pleasant B&B

Our room was on the third floor with no elevator. “Michael” carried our luggage up for us but I handled the luggage leaving. This is an old facility so the bathroom is old and little room. Both of these should be explained in the direction . These two items did not hurt our stay. We did enjoy.

Wonderful secluded location about a 10 min walk to either the harbor or the the town. The town has several good restaurants one of which is excellent. The Asticou gardens are about 20 min by foot and one of the Acadia NP carriage roads is 30 min walk from the property. Little to no road noise at night. Breakfasts were simple but good. The Acadia park main entrance and the drive to Cadillac Mountain are a short drive stay. Bar Harbor and Southwest harbor are 20-30 min away by car.

It was a charming old building with many original fixtures, sink, footed tub w/shower. Beautiful hardwood including doors and original fussy locks with old fashioned keys Have patience - charm is not without a downside

Very lovely room with single beds and plenty of space with a much needed air conditioner. Breakfast was simply nice with different fresh fruit and muffins/bread each day along with a variety of granola bars, instant oatmeals, coffee and tea.

Carpenter ants that invaded our room one day. The front desk apologized and informed me that is was common to see them in July.

Wonderful!!!! Enjoyed the location, firepit, and fireplace. Owners were griwndly and available as-needed. Breakfast was homemade each day. Everything was taken care of ....great attention to detail

The Claw-foot bathtub looked awesome, but was extremely hard to get into and out of. My elderly mother could not shower

The inn is very nice and you can see that the owners inveated a lot of thought in the decor of the public areaa and the room. Breakfast items were a surprise since in booking it says "no breakfast". There were home made muffins and a cake + coffee, tea and fruit which is nice. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious and included a mini fridge.

Our room was on the third floor with no elevator. It would have been good if we would have known this while booking. It was very dificult to lock and unlock our room door. The bathroom ia very small and not comfortable and it doesnt actually have a door so anything one does in the bathroom can be heard in the room

Beautiful, clean inn! Light continental breakfast was available, as well. Great location and friendly staff.

My only feedback would be to change the shower curtain, it needs to be something that can be on the outside of the tub and does not stick to the person showering.
