The location is so perfect, right off of the Village Green and just a short walk to restaurants shops, and the pier. My husband and I were able to catch the shuttle there each day to different parts of the island and hiking trails. (Free shuttle service during the summer months!) It rained and was chilly each day, but we could still sit outside on the beautiful, covered porch at night which had some heating lamps to keep us warm. It was also wonderful to start off each morning with a delicious breakfast in the adorable main room. Everyone was so friendly!

The Acadia Hotel is situated right on Bar Harbor's village green, so nearly every shop and restaurant is less than a 10-minute walk away. Also easy access to Acadia National Park. Hotel guests get guaranteed parking spaces (behind the building) in a part of town where street parking can be brutally competitive. The complementary continental breakfast includes an omelette bar. The hotel has bikes, hiking equipment, and umbrellas to lend out to guests. They also have printed hiking guides that you can take into the park.
I can only speak for Room 3, but I've never seen a smaller bathroom in my life, not even on a submarine. The shower stall is so narrow that I couldn't bend down to wash my legs, or even raise my legs up to reach my feet, Literally smaller than a phone booth.

Hotel location is awesome, convenient to anything you want to do in the village, all walking distance. Very friendly and informative staff, they care and keep the place clean and tidy. Continental breakfast is just right, love the omelettes! Cafe this way (awesome breakfast place!) is right out back too. The owner Peter is usually on sight and very helpful with reccos on anything! Should you need to borrow a cooler, hiking equipment, bikes….they have on property for usage, nice!
A little more tired than last visit. The mattress was a bit sunken, and the sheets twisted every time we turned over in the bed. The bathroom doesn’t really have any shelving or door/wall hooks to unpack toiletries or hang a wet towel other than the door.

Breakfast was great - fresh omelets were a nice touch. Hotel is in the best possible location for being able to walk to shopping and dining. Although we unfortunately didn't have the opportunity to use any of the equipment available, i.e., bikes, it is a nice addition that they are complementary, as well as hiking sticks and other equipment.
The Golf Simulator was closed for the season. I would have like to use that particular facility. Most of the staff was wonerful although one young lady at breakfast was not very friendly and acted as if we were imposing on her to make our omelet.

Breakfast was good. The decaf coffee needs to be improved. Muffins were excellent! They keep it VERY clean. Staff was superb! The bed was so comfortable . I liked that they listed places to eat for breakfast and dinner.
I noticed when they wash the tables in the breakfast nook they use Mr Clean which is a great cleaner. But you are suppose to mix it with water. They use it right out of the bottle which causes the tables to be very sticky. Thank you!

Location was excellent. Close to main street and very walkable to many shops and activities. Staff were are pleasant. Room was cute and clean. There was a porch with a table and chairs that in a different season would be very enjoyable to sit outside with friends or family.
Bathroom very small and said there was a sitting area, but really was just 2 chairs at the end of the bed, neither very comfortable.

Hade a great week here. Just a block from all the downtown Bar Harbor restaurants and bars, 3 blocks from the waterfront. Easy access to Acadia without having to drive directly through downtown. The cooked-to-order breakfast omelets were an unexpected bonus! The room was a bit small but we didn't spend much time in it, so much to do in town and in the national park. Parking is a little tight but we always found a space close to our room.

The location was great. The front desk folks were really nice and helpful. It was great to have hiking equipment readily available to use if necessary. The staff were very friendly and courteous. I would stay there again.
The bathroom & shower were a little tight. We are average size adults and found it a little compact. Breakfast was a little Spartan, prepackaged cereal and muffins, but coffee was always available. I was bummed that the virtual golf system was shut down for the season, not a lot else to do in Bar Harbor in the winter.

The friendly staff. Being able to park at the Inn and walk everywhere. The front porch was so lovely to sit on. The room was exceptionally clean.
The bathroom and the size of the shower was disappointing. We loved the room and we understand it is an old Inn. But I am claustrophobic and the size of that shower was too much.

Location was excellent to walk to everything.. The breakfast was only a continental style so we went out to breakfast the mornings we were there.. The parking can be a little tight tight. The room was extremely clean.
The room that I booked on booking. com. Was not the same room that I ended up with. They did do a price adjustment though when we got there.
