Spectacular harbor views from every room with a nice balcony. It is in a quiet area away from the bustle of Bar Harbor, but still close by. The room was quite large with plenty of space and very clean. Ample parking was available for free. Easy access to Acadia and local sites. A nice breakfast is included which is a plus. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Acadia and Bar Harbor. During the tourist season, check the cruise schedule for BH to try to avoid larger crowds in town and at Acadia.

Hotel itself was very clean and quiet. Room was great! We had a second floor ocean view, which was awesome. Love the dispensers for shampoo/soap/etc. Very eco-friendly! The room had a smart TV, Keurig, etc which was awesome considering the second hotel we went to was "fancier" and more expensive and it did not have these. Room service was only provided if you stayed an x amount of days, but that was no issue at all!

The only issue we had was in the bathroom. The window was open during our stay which allowed some sound to filter in and out. We were unable to close it but it was not a huge issue so we just ignored that.

The breakfast buffet was quite good. The scrambled eggs did not have that powdery state. Sausage and bacon were cooked just right. Liked the juice selection.

Probably a little better signage coming in after the first turn and the road coming into the home area is in desperate need of resurfacing. Wish the hotel had maps with references to the local area. We got lost more than once coming back. The attendant at the desk told us a restaurant in town was open until 10 but in fact the kitchen closed at 9. A list of local restaurants with closing times would have been very helpful as well as directions.

The location was perfect to access Acadia National Park and get to downtown Bar Harbor in the evening for dinner. Parking was plentiful and available. The balcony view of Frenchman Bay was wonderful. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. There were options available for everyone in our group and we all enjoyed it.

I cannot think of anything I didn't like about the hotel. Not a dislike but you might consider putting a list of TV channels in the room so it is easier to see what is on offer. Not that we watched TV very much after a day of hiking around. :)

The room and the facilities in general are very clean. The location to Bar Harbor is only a mile away so not too bad of a walk. The do have taxi service available. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was good compared to some self serve breakfasts I have had. Coffee was available 24/7 and the view was excellent.

I did not care for the pillows but that is just a personal preference. Also, it would be nice to have the balcony chairs and table cleaned off for arriving guests.

The big stand out here is the view. It's very nice to have the view and have a buffer between you and the neighbors. Aside from that, the breakfast was decent with a few choices. What was really a nice touch was the free cookies they put out at 3:00 pm. The first night we stayed it was peanut butter and oatmeal raisin cookies and they were excellent. We found out the first day before checking in that parking is a bit tricky in Bar Harbor meaning that it's a busy place, hard to find parking and they charge $4 an hour to park. The hotel has a free shuttle that will take you to the downtown area so we took advantage of that twice and it's super easy. it leaves about every half hour.

Not much I didn't like here. The breakfast could have been a little better. It would have been nice to see oatmeal with toppings offered. The muffins were just ok.

I loved the fact there were two sinks! With 3 of us- one could "hog" the bathroom and the other two could still get ready using sink #2. I also liked the balcony and view. The place was a bit away from the noise and action but only about a mile from the waterfront. A peaceful place. There was a pool too but we never used it. We found (really close by) an amazing bakery with quiche, blueberry tarts, special coffee drinks and so forth... yum.

We had an issue with the tub stopper mechanism but they fixed it within 30 mins of us reporting the issue. Things break, it happens. They were on it!

Clean room, comfortable beds with a to die for view of the bay/ ocean. It was nice at days end to sit on balcony and just take in that view! Also served a good hot free breakfast of eggs and all the accompaniments. The bonus was having the free Island Explorer bus pick up at the hotels front door, so we never needed our car once we arrived.

The price. A room with 2 queen beds cost just over $430 a night! I’ve stayed in resorts for less $ so the room rate for what you get is way out of whack. However, it was a bit cheaper than what every other decent hotel in Bar Harbor costs.

Nice rooms with good beds, very spacious. Breakfast was simple and about the same everyday but we didn’t mind that. We loved that you could sit outside and watch the ocean during breakfast. Location was amazing, it’s why we picked this hotel. Acadia was just around the corner & the Bar Harbor center was a 20-25min walk through lovely streets. Good thing because parking, even in the beginning of the season, is a disaster over there.

Staff wasn’t very friendly. We also didn’t know that the pool wouldn’t be open. The day before Memorial Day it was super hot but we weren’t aloud to swim. They only opened up the day after Memorial Day..

The views are great. The location is decent - close enough but does require you to drive if you don't want to walk back in the dark etc. The staff is friendly.

The price was high for early May - I realize they have a short season and need to make all their revenue in that time but there are a lot of other choices in retrospect that I might have selected and saved some $$ since Bar Harbor is relatively expensive as you might expect from a tourist town. I would have appreciated regular fill ups for the Kuerig coffee pot - they only service the room when you leave and you can leave your towels outside to get them change if needed but the coffee from the pods was not refilled daily. Their 24 hr coffee is not the greatest so would have preferred the individual cups or Espresso machines.
