The 165 Inn at Park Row is a beautiful old home, with two additional newer buildings, on the elegant main stretch of downtown Brunswick. The Commons, with farmers markets and so on, is right across Park Row. It is absolutely as central as you can get. Alice, the innkeeper, was dedicated and kind. There was a little glitch with our first room, and she took care of it and also moved us to an upgraded room when it was available. We enjoyed the breakfasts, the library area, and the general ambiance and decor of the Inn.

It is an well presented, well maintained, attractive, and comfortable property with many accommodation options. We enjoyed the comfortable room, great breakfast, on site bar, sundowners on the porch, and the welcoming and friendly staff.

It is such a lovely property with so many great things going for it, however, if I had to pick one thing I would improve, it would be to make a family room that is not in the basement.

It was perfectly located near the train station. There were many restaurants and sights to get to by walking. The owner and staff were very welcoming. They suggested different places to see and gave us the history of the area. We had 2 breakfasts in the dining room. They were delicious and well presented. Two of the nights we went into the pub. The bartender was very friendly. He grew up in the town. We had lots of questions and he answered most of them.

The only suggestion we had was about a transportation issue. Because we took the train up, we weren't able to get to see other areas that were close but close enough to walk to. It would have cost a lot to taxi back and forth. Our suggestion: maybe have a shuttle bus or van to bring people to some of those places and also take them back to the inn. It would be great for those who really want to make use of the train and then be able to get around to other places. We suggested this to the owner and she was going to look into it.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a friendly smile and warm welcome from the proprietor, Eileen Norton. Everyone we met on the staff, from wait service, to kitchen help exuded the same outgoing, friendly manner. The service is outstanding. The ambiance warm and homey and the breakfast delicious!

Honestly, I cannot say anything fell short of our expectations.

Lovely host who gave insights into the town and what to explore. Breakfast in the accomodation was great!

Our room was rather tight but okay for our purpose. Pretty sure that there are bigger rooms in the hotel.

Awesome place. We stayed in the carriage house. Spacious super clean coffee and tea there when we got in later at night during a freezing rain storm. Host called me a few days in advance to make sure we knew how to get in. We all loved the stay and will be back. Thank you so much for creating such a welcoming warm place. Love love love it!!!

Nothing could have been better

It combines the 19th-century charm of the main house with very modern rooms in adjacent buildings. The location overlooking the green is ideal and extremely convenient to Bowdoin College campus and many shops and restaurants on Maine Street. The Brunswick train station is about 100 yards away, an easy walk.

Location is superb, staff are amazing. Emily took care of us so well! The room was comfortable and homey and walking distance to amenities. Everything was wonderfully clean and and the bed helped a pregnant woman finally get a good night's rest. This establishment is gorgeous and will be one to which we return.

A little tricky to find but other than that. Excellent location once settled in.

Convenience - It’s close to everything!

The main house is in a state of repair but staff did everything to take care of our needs. Very responsive.

The location was perfect. They are remodeling the lobby. Communication for check-in and breakfast was excellent! Breakfast was delivered to our door each morning. Drinks were available all day.

If we were to make a suggestion it would be to change the pillows. Possible provide a soft and a firmer version.
