Breakfast was lovely, 2 courses and sooo delicious. Hostess could not have been nicer. Our room, the birch retreat, was perfect for our family of four - it was like a mini apartment, with twin beds in a separate room for our boys, and a sitting area and kitchenette area to make picnic lunches for our hiking adventures. And the bathroom was enormous and had a gigantic soaking jacuzzi tub!

If we had more time to just relax in the room, maybe a more comfortable couch in the sitting area, but we had such great weather that we really didn’t want to sit inside!

The owners of the Blackberry Inn were very nice! They made sure everything was perfect for our stay. My husband has food allergies and they took the information and made sure everything that they served him was safe for him to eat. They even made different food than was on the menu just to accommodate him..

There was nothing that I didn't like. I would stay here again if we need to stay in the area. The owners went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect.

The Inn is located near downtown and nestled in mature shade trees and nice landscaping. The Innkeeper, Cat, is exceptionally welcoming & tried to accommodate all of our needs. From the moment we walked in, she made us feel at home, gave us a tour, and walked us to our room. She served us a magnificent breakfast in the morning and made us feel like royalty. Everything was perfect! I would highly recommend the Blackberry Inn to anyone looking for a little getaway to unwind and relax.

Everything was very nice. It was very clean and the 1849 home was done in the historial area it presented. Loved that. The host and hostess were very, very nice and enjoyed our little chats. Bob fixed wonderful healthy breakfast every mornging and even let a person modifiy it if need be. Our room was nice and had most of everything we needed for comfort. The only thing that we wish it did have was a shower in our room. This was our first stay at a B and B and would definintly do again but ask if the room had a shower with the rest of the bathroom. What can say the stay was great and the room and Cat and Bob were great host and hostess. The only thihg is not having a shower in our room, However they did furnish robes for our use. The shower room was very well done and had all the necessities we needed.

The hosts were lovely people and very accommodating and the breakfasts were delicious. The location was very central and good for walking. There are lots of great restaurants nearby. There are many types of rooms to choose from. The beds and linen were exceptional.

We loved the vintage of an older home, but we needed a room on the first floor. The only hiccup was that we could hear other guests moving around on the upper floor.

The hospitality of the owners (inn keepers) and the staff was exceptional. The room was perfect for my needs - simple, but all I needed was provided for. I also enjoyed the common areas of the house, lots of nice rooms to sit in, have coffee/tea, or just sit quietly and read.

Not sure how my experience at Blackberry Inn could be improved, it was really great.

Our host and hostess were welcoming, genuine, kind, and informative. The beds were VERY comfortable. The gourmet breakfast was delicious. The location is convenient to downtown Camden, just a few blocks’ walk. The Blackberry theme was charming. Rooms sparkling clean. Rain shower with great pressure. Air conditioner in the room kept things comfortable. The en-suite bathroom gave us privacy. Lots of updates like fresh tile and paint. Room was huge and beautifully furnished with antiques and soft armchairs. Robes, soft towels, bottles of water, and a couple of granola bars and chocolates were lovely and thoughtful amenities which we immediately had after a long trip. Iron and board available, which we did not use. There are comfy parlors and nooks in this “Painted Lady” house for sitting and reading, and a coffe/tea maker downstairs. Most of all, the service was friendly and on the spot. Looking forward to coming back soon. Beautiful newly expanded terrace for breakfast al fresco on pretty days.

Honestly everything was fantastic! No complaints.

Beautiful setting! Garden grounds were gorgeous!! Near town. Perfect room set up. Electric plugs near bed. Coffee maker. Fridge. Suitcase stands. Lots of hooks. Fireplace. Great bathroom. Not to mention the owners who were so warm and welcoming!! And breakfast was outstanding! Great servers who never let your coffee cup get empty!! I will book here again!

No complaints whatsoever. Parking might be an issue in the winter.

Simple but well prepared breakfast, high threadcount bed linens, kind hosts, and a great location just a few blocks from the main street area.

I was not keen on the disposable Keurig coffee pods and default disposable cups for beverages before and outside of breakfast service. I long for the time when paper cups with plastic kids weren't the norm for enjoying a morning cup... especially in such a sleepy, relaxing town and b&b environment.

Besides the exterior attractiveness and ambience of this B&B, there are several wonderful features that appear once you actually stay at the Blackberry Inn. First is the graciousness and hospitality of Bob and Catherine, the hosts for your stay. They are hospitable in every way and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable in the inn. Next is the genuine relaxing comfort of this beautiful home and garden seating area. You feel as if you're on your own patio a million miles from the cares of the world. Lastly an absolutely fantastic feature is the amazing breakfast that is so perfectly prepared and served by Catherine and Bob. The food was delicious and the setting - on the garden patio - was so refreshing. We had never visited Camden, Maine, but we will do so again and will certainly plan to stay at the Blackberry Inn.
