A small, but clean and bright corner room with a comfortable bed and a harbor view from large double windows. (Room 2 in the Sail Loft building.) I was warned the lobster boats/fishermen could be noisy early in the morning, but only heard one boat heading out about 6:30 AM. The lobby has a public living room with stocked built-in bookshelves and is decorated with model ships and coastal art/historic photos that are interesting to see. The meals were delicious: French toast and sausage for breakfast and fish and chips for dinner. Dinner portions were huge! The staff were very friendly and polite, and the check-in/out process was smooth and simple. It's in a very pretty setting on a working harbor, and the small-town roads are lined with well-kept classic seaside homes. Just a short drive to Port Clyde for the Monhegan boat!

Have a larger sign out by the main road pointing the way to the inn. I couldn't find the correct side road and had to backtrack to find it. Hint: it's just before the General Store if you're heading toward Port Clyde.

Tenants Harbor was a lovely area where working lobster boats and pleasure craft co-mingled. There is a convenient public launch nearby, a small general store and the view is lovely. We enjoyed breakfast on the porch and late meals and beverages in the pub downstairs. The room in which we stayed was spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable. I loved the shower!!

A bit better food variety in the pub would be nice. More fresh choices for vegetarians. There was a salad option, but it was not very interesting. Everything else was a bit heavy - fried, etc. The pub is a nice place to eat, less formal and easy to relax.

Lovely location with excellent views of the bay. Very friendly and accommodating staff and excellent breakfast. The Quarry Pub is an added bonus with very good food and drinks.

Our room faced the fishing pier and was very noisy every morning starting ~4:30 as fisherman started their day. Although interesting I would not recommend staying in one of the rooms facing the pier. Additionally, one of the drawers on the dresser in our room fell off when we went to open it and one of the hinges on our rooms door was hanging off. These are small things but leave an impression that basic building maintenance is not a focus.

The breakfast was great, and the food and atmosphere in the tavern. The view from our room (suite with balcony) was gorgeous. Every one was friendly, we had a lovely stay

Having breakfast outside on the terrace overlooking the harbor was such a beautiful way to begin the day. It really made us happy. We even enjoyed sitting by the fire pit in the evening after the sun went down.

There was some lack of communication between booking.com and the hotel that led to us having a room with 2 double beds rather than a queen. We pushed the beds together and were fine, but at that price point, we should not have had to deal with that.

The location of the East Wind Inn is gorgeous. Right on the water with beautiful lawns going down to the shore. It is quiet and serene. The view of the outer islands is fantastic. Breakfast was included which was delicious. You could tell the ingredients were very fresh.

Honestly, I can't think of one thing I didn't like.

There was nothing we did not like. Floor lamp did not work but did not need it and suspect it just needed a new lightbulb

This property is located right on the water in a nice quiet spot. We enjoyed the feeling of a quaint Inn but with some modern amenities (AC!)

We wish the bar and restaurant stayed open a bit later in the evening, but all night life in Tenants Harbour seems to wrap up around 9pm.

The staff is amazing. The Inn itself is so charming. We loved that its right on the harbor and pet friendly. The food is very good. We had a perfect stay here and will come back every year

Very good breakfasts, and an easy, quick drive to Port Clyde (Monhegan Island ferry access, among other things). Friendly, helpful staff, VERY comfortable bed in a nice room, and a lovely bathroom that looked recently renovated. Homey, inviting lobby and big covered porch with plenty of furniture. I hope the restaurant (indoor and outdoor seating) will be open for more dinner shifts as it becomes easier to fill staff positions. The dinner we had there was terrific, but our stay plus their midweek closed days meant we could only have the one. Happily, a staff person recommended the Happy Clam, all of about three blocks away in walking terms, and it was a great alternative. Fantastic lobster roll!

Not all the rooms have air conditioning, which is unclear from the internet descriptions I saw (some do, others just have fans). It's an old building and can't help but have issues crop up here & there, so be prepared for some minor idiosyncrasies.
