We LOVED our stay at 250 Main Hotel!!!! The location was perfect and our room had great views! We also sat on the rooftop patio both evenings. On Monday evening, there were no restaurants open due to the day of the week and the holiday. We returned to the hotel with empty stomachs and mentioned this to Jillian. She promptly made us a plate of apple, cheese, crackers and 2 glasses of wine! We were so appreciative! What a lovely stay!

The hotel feels like an upscale big city boutique hotel (except the rooms are bigger!), with great amenities and a terrific continental breakfast. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Paintings by Maine artists line the hallways, the location is right across the street from the harbor (and harbor walk) and just a few blocks from the museums and art galleries that make Rockland a destination town on the midcoast. So happy we stayed here!

There was a glitch with the smart TV, but the front desk gentleman fixed it as soon as we requested.

This is a wonderful hotel! It was immaculately clean, and our room was spacious, well appointed and comfortable. The staff were lovely. And the continental breakfast (croissants, blueberries, Greek yoghurt, granola, peaches) was delicious. Location is also great - very convenient to Rockland restaurants and stores. Beautiful ocean view from the roof terrace. High end amenities. We would absolutely stay here again!

A fabulous, perfectly located stylish hotel. It is not easy to find a contemporary boutique hotel along the Maine's coastline. We booked one of the 2 top floor rooms with a large terrace. It is worth every penny. Especially if you have time to sit on the outdoor sofa and relax a bit. The bathroom was spacious enough, well designed, heated towel rack, bath robes provided. Smartly hidden coffee maker and the fridge. I am a designer myself. High praise to the architect and the decorator! The common areas were stylish yet comfortable, still thoughtfully connected to the local history. The owners are in ship making industry and you will find nautical details throughout the hotel. The staff was very helpful and professional. I am a demanding traveler. Book it!

Didn't have the breakfast so can't speak to that. But the room on the 4th floor with a view of the harbor was spectacular. (you are going to want to use the blackout curtains). Industrial chic decor which is more soothing that it sounds. Radiant heat in the bathroom floors was a special treat! There's elevator access to the roof would would have been fun it the outside temp wasn't in the single digits!

A little pricier than we usually go for but it was our anniversary so why not? And the view alone was worth it. Also, not sure if there is designated parking on the premises. It was dark when we arrived and we didn't see any. Parked on the street, which was fine but might be too crowded in the summer?

The room was spacious luxurious and very comfortable, the bed was also very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and had a very good shower.

Breakfast was limited but of good quality. There was a kettle in the room but only tea provided, to have a coffee in the morning required fetching it from reception - as none tea drinkers it would have been nice to have been provided with coffee bags / instant coffee?

Wonderful hotel with excellent facilities. Our room was large, light, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was spacious and the complimentary toiletries were of a high quality. Very kind and helpful staff. We loved the mix of modern and antique furniture and decorations.

I purchased one of their mugs upon departure. unfortunately I didn’t check the mug prior to them wrapping it and placing in a bag. Once we got home I unwrapped and was disappointed to find 3 small chips on the rim of Theo mug. my bad for not checking before departure as I paid $25.00 for mug.

We had dinner at the Samoset resort the same night as a staff member who had dinner reservations. The food was fantastic. Hotel was very clean and a quick walk to the quaint downtown of Rockland. Short distance to Rockport and Camden which we took a visit to. Overall a fantastic stay and will return during summer/autumn months!

The room had an awesome view. Bed and pillows were so comfortable, I didn't want to leave! Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Already planning on another stay. 🙂

To get there was a little confusing, and closer parking to the Hotel would be more convenient. I missed there being a coffee maker and a microwave. A nice continental breakfast, but no restaurant or food offered otherwise. For any length of stay, it would have been nice to have something other than a fridge.
