Clean and quiet motel in Milford/Old Town Maine. We stopped here overnight on our way from Prince Edward Island to Boston. The beds were comfy, and the rooms have balconies overlooking the river behind the motel. We had dinner and breakfast at the Goversor's restaurant a short drive away, and took a late evening walk to the dam on the river, in what seemed to be a safe neighborhood. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful with suggestions for where to eat. The room had a kitchenette that we didn't use.

I previously stayed here for 3 nights and this time I stayed 2 nights. It was just as I expected and I was very pleased. This is my go to place to stay when I am in the area. The staff is lovely, the view is amazing, and it's extremely convenient to have the kitchen facilities in our room. It's located fairly centrally to all the areas I needed to visit on this. I will certainly be staying here again in the future!

The location was excellent especially to UMaine campus! Staff was friendly! Place was spotless and spacious. Having a kitchen was great!

Kitchen just needed a few items.. scissors, a couple sharp knives, a pasta pot. We ended up buying a few items at goodwill and our son took them to his dorm.

The owners are wonderful, warm and genuine. Simply put, I don’t think I’ve ever met another motel owner like them. In our short 2 night stay I feel like I made friends and I certainly plan on returning again, hopefully soon.

This is a well cared for, incredibly clean, 70’s vintage motel. There’s honestly nothing I didn’t like.

The location was perfect for our visit to the area. The place was quaint, peaceful and we loved the view from the back deck!! Very easy to find and had no problems while there. The owners were very friendly and helpful!! Would go back again!!

The internet was very spotty. It was out more than in. No other problems

Very basic and a little bit dated but perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable and there was a view of the river off the back balcomy

It was quite chilly when we first got in the room and took quite a while to warm up (it was 50 degrees in the room!)

Very helpful host., For a motel which looks shabby on the outside the room was pretty modern, comfortable and clean.

Couple of 1970-ties items in the room looking completely out of place. The stairs carpet needs to be removed, it carries a smell from 1970.

I've stayed here before and would definitely come back. The location is conveniently close to the U of Maine. The room was very comfortable and clean and the staff was helpful and friendly.

So homey and comfortable, exactly what I was looking for! Suite was quite - no noise from other rooms (inside and out). Everything was clean and we had everything we needed for our stay!

Parking was a little confusing, we were able to park next to the building but saw other cars parking in areas that made coming in and out of parking lot a little challenging. Some parking stripping would help direct people where to park and allow more room for everyone.

The property was very clean, comfortable, neat and tidy.

I have no complaints. If I have to say something is that the balcony was tiny but having said that I was happy to have it. Maybe consider trimming the trees so we could see more of the water
