The Anchorage Inn and Cottages was lovely. We first stayed in July. We had rented through VRBO a home in a neighboring town. The home turned out to be dirty and we could not stay. My husband has health issues and he could not stay in a home with horrible air quality and dirt. We found the Anchorage had availability for us, our family and our family dog. The rooms were spotless. Staff was amazing. They were sympathetic to our situation and they saved our vacation. We stayed one night in late September while visiting our daughter at UNH in Durham, NH. Anchorage will be our new go to place when we visit this area of NH and Maine.

The only thing they may want to add are some umbrellas near the grilling area. In July we grilled one afternoon and the shaded areas to sit and eat were filled. The benches near the grill had full sun. Otherwise the place in perfect.

We loved having our own little cottage. Traveling with our dog who provides service to us for hearing purposes as we both struggle with hearing. She tends to bark at noises when staying in connected rooms, so this was a perfect spot for us to enjoy a quiet stay. The pool area was really nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The entire park was clean and comfortable to walk around even at night.

The grills could be upgraded. They were old and overworked. They didn't light unless using a lighter, which made us a little nervous.

Clean place and well maintained. The room itself was nice and the bed was comfortable, Good location, near main restaurants. Peaceful and quiet in the evening, which makes for a relaxing vacation.

A dehumidifier was needed in addition to the air conditioning to make the air comfortable. It was very noisy. Also, we were not allowed to plug a toaster to make our own breakfast in the morning. The clerk said that the electricity circuits could not handle the load.

We loved this place! The room was spacious and clean, and housekeeping was regular and friendly. All of the facilities were clean and cleaned daily -- the pool, the grounds. Staff at the front desk was so welcoming and helpful. Our dog also loved it, and the facility made it easy for us to clean up after him, with doggy bags/waste bins all around the property. The bed was comfortable, and we loved having an extra room for our teenagers. We were within walking distance of Moody Beach and many amenities: mini-golf, restaurants, an ice cream stand, shopping. Oh, and they even gave us a cute treat bag for our dog that included a doggy bowl and some biscuits! Two thumbs up for this place, and we'd definitely visit again.

Nothing -- we really loved everything. Everything met our expectations and even exceeded them.

The bed is very comfortable and clean. The air conditioner worked well. I liked that there were ice machines on site.

We only had 3 pillows on our king size bed. Thankfully we brought our own from home. The room had a strong odor of bleach when we first arrived. It did dissipate after a short time. I didn’t like that the maids came in our room to change out the towels while we were gone. I feel they should have asked us before entering our room. It would have been nice to have an other chair in our room and table so we could have ate together or played games at a table. Over all the stay was nice and the staff was friendly. We will go back.

The room is fabulous, clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff is great, very friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows are just fantastically comfortable, I slept great.

The room really needs more light, the one light in the corner simply isn't adequate. A light on the night stand next to the bed would be excellent. Also there aren't enough outlets available, I am glad I travel with a small power strip so I can plug all my devices in for the night.

It was good location and had comfortable beds. Room was clean. Staff was friendly and attentive

I think the room had just been deep cleaned. The carpet felt sligthly damp but the room had a clean smell. I alerted the staff at check-out and they said they would look into it right away.

The staff was very professional and helpful! The location is perfect for the area beaches too! We really appreciated the grills that they have for guests and made good use of them. The pool was sparking clean every day and we enjoyed that as well! We will definitely be returning and will rent a cottage there the next time!!

We had a 2 bedroom cottage for 4 adults. It was a good size and well stocked. Very basic. Wifi was great. Pool was lovely. The property was well maintained. Great curb appeal. The staff were very friendly and helpful.f

Not enough storage in bedrooms. We only stayed 3 nights so it was not an issue but if I were staying here with a family for a week or more I would like more storage and a place to hang clothes in both rooms. The cottage was dated and there was an issue with ants on the counter. Bed in the Master bedroom did not have a mattress. It only had a 6 inch thick piece of foam.

The gentleman at the front desk was wonderful, the room was cozy and clean. The pool was very nice, but must be it was popular because the towels were always gone by the end of the day. lol

Parking was a little weird. We always had a spot, but sometimes it was a bit far from the room.
