Our stay was fantastic! HGH is a beautiful B&B with a classic New England feel. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The bed was comfortable, and we slept beautifully. The location was very close to the beach (within 15min walk) and about 1mile walk from the main street. Patrick was incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, and the ultimate host. He was very responsive over messaging and provided clear check-in instructions when we had a late arrival. He was lovely to talk to during our delicious breakfast of challah french toast. He also gave us insider tips on the best places to go/spots to park during the busy summer season. Highly recommend and would love to come back!

The house is historic and well-maintained. It’s also within walking distance of some great restaurants, including Angelina’s, which is about. 15 minute walk. The innkeeper told us about a footpath across from Angelina’s, which is a great way to access Ogunquit beach and enjoy the ocean. Patrick, the owner, also introduced us to a local favorite restaurant, Stutesys, which is a 2 minute walk from the Inn and has great food!

The stairs to our room are like stairs on a submarine, true to the historical nature of the hotel, but we didn’t even attempt to take our heavy luggage up to the room. It would have been impossible, so I’d suggest bringing a small and easy to carry bag.

Super cute historical house! Our room was very cozy and comfortable. Patrick is just the most adorable host with impecable taste for elegance and beauty. He also makes fresh breakfast to order for each guest and he gave us great recommendations for restaurants and parking. The place is located a few minutes drive from downtown Oqunguit and is definitely worth the savings vs. staying downtown. you can also walk to Foodbridge beach (15 min) as parking there gets full before 10am in high season)

Patrick accommodated our food allergy needs, and the breakfast was wonderful. I especially enjoyed the gluten free blueberry pancakes he prepared for us on the second morning. Parking at the Inn was plentiful and located on the property. We enjoyed meeting Coco (Patrick's dog). Patrick is a delightful host and you can tell he enjoys chatting with his guests. He helped us with suggestions for dining and places to see. Our room was lovely.

Haha -- due to our own error, we had a bit of trouble getting into our room after-hours when we first arrived. But, Patrick was available by phone and was able to quickly correct our error and get us into the room.

The Holiday Guest house is just beautiful inside. The rooms are a good size as are the bathrooms. The pool is small but serves its purpose and the grounds are well maintained and beautiful. The shower water pressure is amazing, which is always a toss up on vacation. Patrick is a fabulous host, provides nice filling breakfasts, is respectful of your privacy, and is always willing to provide recommendations if you are looking for places to visit and places to eat.

The only downside is that the driveway is tough to find, but once you know where it is, it’s not a problem.

Fabulous! Patrick was friendly and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He gave us helpful ideas on how to navigate through Ogunquit and Kennebunkport...and, great restaurant recommendations.

My only suggestion..a small one...would be to add luxurious towels. The towels were good, but luxurious towels would have really added to the experience.

Location fantastic for both Wells and Ogunquit. Great host in Patrick who cooked fantastic breakfasts! Room was large with great shower and ac. Pool looked fantastic (unfortunately rained quite a bit when we were there so didn’t use) gardens were beautiful. Great easy parking and within walking distance to may restaurants

Patrick, our host, was exceptional from the very start. He was able to tell us about what the area had to offer as well as places to dine. Additionally his home cooked breakfasts were exceptional.

Though on the main road, the establishment was easy to bypass as the sign in front is behind a fence. However, their are plans in the works to fix that.

The home and grounds were beautiful. Charming home, elegantly decorated and depicting the era. Very clean and well maintained. Patrick was wonderful and the breakfast was excellent! Very tasty, filling and different on both days. Location is about 1.5 miles from Ogunquit and about 20 min drive to Kennebunkport. Great places to eat around.

The Breakfast was individually prepared, attractively presented, and Delicious. The Proprieter (Daniel) is knowlegeable and helpful about the local area as well as an attentive and gracious Host. I will certainly recommend it to friends who may be traveling to that area, especially as it is quite close to the historic Ogunquit Summer Theater, one of the best in the Country. Good restaurants and Antique shops are plentiful, as well as the Beach and related activities.
