We ended up in an "Accessible" room which gave fewer furniture items in layout . The room heater gave off a dusty smell, there were several wall spots near the mirror and ceiling stains visible, along with some moldiness at the window caulk behind the curtain. The entry seemed more like a processing employee entrance than guest area, no information on lack of breakfast or coffee was given.

It provided a good selection of breakfast and lunch items. The staff was very attentive to customer needs and requests. The price is very much in line with the services offered.

There is nothing not to like about this place. I found it to be as good as advertized.

Everything was good, we were tired and cold, this motel met our needs very well. When we got around the next morning the staff was very friendly and helpful. Motel 6 has always been the first motel I check.

Front desk staff, she was awesome during the process of checking in and checking out. She definitely deserves a raise and I hope she knows she a valued employee.

Easy access to all the area

Very small room

We got what we paid for. We wanted to pay within the $100-$200 range in order to visit a friend, not realizing that Portland was a summer vacation destination. Our hotel was booked approximately one month before traveling, at the low end of our budget. We used the room mostly as a place to shower and sleep, but it was comfortable and the staff was kind, although some of the people hanging out in the parking lot made us check our car twice before we locked it and set the alarm. It's a convenient 10-15 minute drive from residential areas, the University of New England, Old Port, and downtown. Though I'm not sure of the property's pet rules, the area was very dog friendly, and we absolutely could have comfortably brought our dog and he could have gone everywhere with us.

The immediate area was a little questionable. In order to get to the hotel, you drive through the parking lot of a tire salesman. According to a local friend, it's just the main hotel area. There were some questionable other people staying there that made us check our locks twice, but overall we felt safe.

The room was clean. The price was right for just staying overnight to sleep and not needing any extras. Nothing in this room was broken from what I observed. Very basic room but that is what you expect from Motel 6.

Did not have any shampoo in the rooms but they warned us in advance they were having trouble getting supplies due to Covid.
