Clean modern room. Close to hospital where family getting a procedure. Close to shopping and dinning.

When we first arrived and went to our room after 3 hour drive the room looked clean until we stepped in the first bed had a badly red stained comforter. Looked like blood. Not fresh but clearly noticeable stains. I went to room phone to call front desk and the phone was sticky like a Child held in with syrup. The front desk staff quickly apologized and asked us to return to front desk for new room. We went to front desk and he was waiting on others we were ok with waiting but he saw us quickly apologized to the person he was waiting on and apologized to us and handed us a new room key card and new room was perfect clean closer and no issues

The room was very comfortable, attractive and quiet, reception was excellent and the room was very clean.

The eggs at breakfast were rubbery and sweet! Do they put sugar in everything??? It's likely these eggs are pre-packaged and not cooked from eggs in the kitchen. At the price of accommodation, one would expect that the quality of something as basic as eggs could be improved. One other complaint is the curtains wouldn't close all the way to block bright lights from outside. Sleep is much better in complete darkness and there are those of us who prefer that.

we always stay with this hotel when we go on holiday and it never disappoints! So clean, never out dated, and the staff are above and beyond welcoming and friendly! (night check in staff guy is 10/10) No matter what room we get it always comfortable and spacious. We will always stay with La Quinta!!

Not a super big deal, the complimentary breakfast provided many delicious options. mostly meat and bread options. Unfortunately I have a lot of dietary restrictions and didn’t have any options that fit within my limitations (fresh fruit/vegetables) they did have bananas witch would have been nice if they weren’t so ripe :)

Stayed here while my mom was having surgery. I also work as her caregiver. She had some complications and was in the hospital longer than expected. I was unsure from one day to the next if I would have to stay another night. They were extremely accommodating. Not only have I never been to Maine med and felt lost, but was nervous about my mom’s surgery. I was so comfortable with my stay; that helped ease any nerves and concerns. I can’t thank them enough! I will definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

We were very impressed with the size of our room. We were given an accessible room and it really was large and quite comfortable. The bathroom was clean and also huge. Beds were comfortable.

They kept running out of eggs at breakfast, so it caused a traffic jam in the line. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. It was close to the venue for the show we were attending and also close to everything else we may want to do. I do wish it was a little less expensive for one night, but it was worth it.

We were welcomed by super friendly staff at the desk. They accomodated the two rooms we requested near each other. The hotel was immaculate!! Super clean rooms. Bathrooms were sparkling clean. The rooms smelled clean and fresh. Outdoor pool was large and very clean. My granddaughters loved it!! The breakfast was above and beyond the normal toast or cereal. Breakfast included eggs, bagels, yogurts, etc. my family and I will stay here again without even looking at another place no doubt.

Continental breakfast was very good. The room was clean but there was no indication that they would not be cleaning every day. I don’t mind this but I would have liked to know it. The biggest problem was the bathroom which Is very small - no way two people could fit in there at the same time. And the toilet is so close to the bathtub that it is almost impossible to get into the bathtub holding onto the grab bar. I would also note that the height of the. Tub was higher than I am used to and I bruised myself several times getting in and out. This was not a well designed bathroom.

As noted above, the bathroom was less than terrific.

The hotel is updated quite nicely and the room is spacious and comfortable. There is even a recliner in the room! The staff are all friendly and professional, and the room had everything we would expect or need for a week's stay. One of the best things was the ample free parking. If I even need to come back to the Maine Med. Center, I will definitely choose the La Quinta!

Free hotel breakfast is what it is... The water pressure is a bit low, but they provide good bath products. The pillows weren't the best, but this is being very nitpicky. Thy were fine.

Gus checked me in and was extremely kind and helpful. Filtered water available all day in addition to coffee and hot water. Cleaning and maintenance staff were extremely kind. Room was clean and well maintained. Hotel facilities were clean and well maintained.

There is a truck loading and unloading company directly across the street so I heard back up beeping noise starting very early in the morning. I understand this is not under control or caused by management but it did affect my sleep.

We’ve stayed at La Quinta before and have always enjoyed our stay. It is clean, comfortable, easily accessible to downtown Portland (5 minute drive), and the staff are always lovely. It’s also pet friendly!

Our only downside with this stay was the price we paid for one night- over $400. It was definitely more expensive than we usually pay, although every hotel in Portland was equally hiked up so comparatively it was more affordable than the rest.
