My stay the Yellow Rose of Talbot was excellent! The hosts were so warm and friendly, and were happy to make my stay the best it could be. The Chesapeake Room was spacious. The bedding was wonderful. I loved the window seats in the space. It was so wonderful to come back each evening to this quiet, clean, comfortable space. The breakfast selection is amazing. So many delicious offerings that it was hard to pick one. It was always hot and ready for me in the morning at the requested time. Its location is in a quiet neighborhood, just a few minutes drive from the historic areas of Easton and St. Michaels, such charming towns. Next time I plan to reserve a kayak excursion through the host to see the area from a different vantage point! I definitely would recommend this spot for anyone coming to the area.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Large airy room, with a very comfortable bed. Quiet location and close to the heart of town. Friendly, helpful hosts who were able to give nice suggestions for restaurants. Superb breakfasts, with a two-page selection of possible dishes.

Our room did not have an ensuite bathroom. Although we were the only ones that could use the bathroom, it still meant we had to access it through the hallway, which never presented problems. (The other, larger room does have an ensuite bathroom). For those with mobility issues, be aware that the rooms are accessed via a somewhat steep staircase.

A very warm welcome in this lovely home. Both bedroom and bathroom were spacious and spotless. We had a good night's sleep in this quiet neighborhood, just a few minutes drive from Easton (where we were visiting for a show at the beautiful Avalon Theatre) and not much further to St. Michael's. Breakfast offerings were numerous and generous. The hosts were super friendly and we enjoyed talking to them - they made us feel like old friends in for a visit!

Everything was great. Some may want to be right in town, but the drive is so short to Easton, that it really wasn't a bother, at all.

The location was wonderful! 20 mins to st Michaels and settled in a lovely neighborhood. Moreover hosts a Tammy and Ken are absolutely delightful! Makes you feel like you are just staying with family! Tammy’s cooking talent with leave you absolutely savoring every bite of breakfast. The room was so comfortable and spacious and we enjoyed wine on the patio by the fire. We will be back!

Nothing to dislike

We enjoyed the quietness of the place, cleanliness, comfort, friendliness of the hosts, and most of all the breakfasts, that were delicious and abundant. Our room--the Chesapeake Room-- was huge and the bathroom supported a 2-person jetted tub. The B&B is located in an area without street lights so our room was wonderfully dark and supported good sleep on a comfortable mattress. Also you could sit in the wonderful garden and see the stars at night, and cool breeze during the day.

We liked everything. However, it was pricey through Booking. Call Direct.

Very clean, uncluttered, contemporary, and spacious. The breakfast was delicious. I had the vegetable polenta— it was the real deal. Tasty homegrown vegetables cooked really well. The room was very quiet— such a change from other places. A real getaway from the hustle of crowds during this post pandemic travel madness. Also loved the no minimum nights stay— so we could do a quick overnighter! Lovely gardens too.

A few more non caffeinated options would be the icing on the cake— but really I’m being fussy here. If the proprietor would consider a nespresso machine or some such for easy cappuccino drinks, and milk alternatives, it would be my perfect home away from home!

Everything was great. Plenty of room, and great setup. The hosts were amazing and friendly. She made excellent recommendations if we asked as well and was easy to talk to at breakfast. She was informative of everything there as well.

There wasn't much I didn't like. Honestly, I can't really think of anything. If I have to keep writing here I'll be really annoyed with this. Please let me stop because I don't have any complaints.

We loved everything about our stay at the Yellow Rose. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was comfortable. If you stay in the bigger room, you have an en-suite bathroom with large tub and bathrobes provided. The hosts were so sweet and accommodating. I can’t rave about the breakfast enough. my favorite was the Greek egg casserole. my husband loved the Dutch Baby. everything was delicious. We will have to come again with our children and take a kayak tour with Ken. Highly recommended.

If you want to be in the middle of the action in town, this isn’t the place for you, but if you want a peaceful retreat with great accommodations, kind hosts and amazing food, make a reservation here.

Tammy provided options for breakfast. What we ordered was excellent. Our room was comfortable and clean. We were also able to relax in their backyard which had a beautiful garden and a fire pit. Our hosts were also able to give us recommendations on activities and restaurants.

Although we had our own bathroom, I would have preferred one within our room. The B&B is located in a beautiful suburban neighborhood so you will need to get in your car to drive to restaurants etc.

We had a great stay (again) and would definitely stay here again over a hotel. There was a broad set of choices for breakfast, all deliciously prepared. The privacy was good in spite of occupants in other available room on same floor on a shared hallway. The hosts were excellent and knowledgable about local attractions. The location is in a lovely residential area that is convenient to town. The spacious and comfortable room (we had the smaller of the available choices) was great for a couple, and the separate bathroom and amenities were excellent.

The bed was a little softer than we are used to. While it wasn't an issue and we never ran into anyone, having to go into the shared entry hall to the (nonshared) bathroom was not ideal.
