Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Hagerstown, MD

All staff were friendly, rooms were comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was great with many options to chose from and coffee was amazing. Pool and surrounding area was very clean. Bathroom included a bathtub which was very helpful to clean our infant. Television had a great selection of channels, internet was free and fast. I'd high recommend this place to others and definitely stay again if in the area. The location was easy to find just off I-81, with many stores, restaurants and gas stations near by.

Our room began to smell like marijuana during the night, use of exhaust fan in bathroom made it worse. It was also very strong in the hallway while we prepared to leave. Otherwise I have absolutely no complaints about our stay.

Good size room. USB port was beside the bed. In room coffee was good. Toiletries were pretty good. Chair in the room was actually comfortable. Many have not been in other hotels. Housekeeping employees were very friendly & helpful. Desk staff prompt & friendly. Quiet hotel which is amazing considering they are next too a huge mall & several restaurants.

Bed was very soft which is a problem for me with back problems. Wouldn't mind a firmer bed. Breakfast wasn''t good. I had the scrambled eggs & there was very little flavor too them. Bagel was eh. Regular coffee was good. Gourmet coffee was weak.

The room given was perfect and looks to be upgraded .. compared to the other rooms in the hotel I previously stayed. This room didn't have any carpet, which I loved. The breakfast could use a little more upgrade to it. There was one person working the breakfast area and she was running back in forth, sitting down and at times appear out of breathe. The hot food (eggs, breakfast meat) needs to be cooked a little more better... maybe which it up with other hot options; it was not the best eggs.

The parking lot was convenient for our cargo van and located near restaurants and grocery stores for later evening curbside pick up. it was well lit and the front desk staff was EXCELLENT at check (we’d just driven 11 hours with a van full of rescue dogs from Ga—and we’re exhausted). After we unloaded them onto the van picking them up, grabbed dinner we really enjoyed our in room jacuzzi tub. Everything was clean and the bed was one of the most comfy hotel beds I’ve ever slept in!

I didn’t think the free breakfast was very good. The coffee was pretty good and I got a bagel with cream cheese and an apple. The toaster took forever to barely toast the bagel and it was stale. The phone charger strip in our room didn’t work too well. Other than that it was great!!

everything was clean and the people were friendly

we like more remote locations with less traffic. this hotel was located right in the middle of a huge mall area . great if you’d love shopping . the hotel it set was quiet and nice but the surrounding area is very busy . we stayed on a Saturday night and with that came all the teenage kids racing their cars around the mall parking lot. once inside the hotel it was fine but to busy outside for me . some people love it and there is plenty to do very close by shopping and food etc

The room was on the main floor next an exit. Turns out we were given a room designed for someone with physical limitations. Bathroom had a seat in the shower. I did report that the toilet seat was very loose, but we never heard back from anyone. I brought it to the attention of the front desk receptionist as I checked out. Continental breakfast had a lot to chose from and was fresh.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, a pleasure to deal with. The room was spacious, Beds very comfy.the property was clean. Good breakfast offering albeit a bit limited.

Did not like the green motif, the carpet looks like it needs replacing, at 5 a.m. or so the garbage dumpster pick up was like an alarm clock. The tile floor outside the elevators looked cheap, and the floor actually vibrated as i rolled the luggage cart over it. None of these were deal breakers.

I always stay here when I have to overnight in Hagerstown. The two young ladies at the front desk this time were exceptionally pleasant, friendly and efficient. The beds and pillows are comfy and the shower is strong and hot.

My ONLY disappointment (and some may think it trivial) was that management has still not brought back the warm, freshly-baked chocolate chip cookie that was passed out at check-in. I was so tired the other night when I arrived and was looking forward to the cookie being back on the welcome menu now that things are fully opened after so long, but, for some unknown reason, this delightful amenity has not reappeared. BRING BACK THE WARM COOKIE!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed both the heated pool and the gym. The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety, the hot food was tasty and the woman who worked there was exceptionally pleasant and went out of her way to make sure everyone had what they needed. There are many restaurants nearby and it is conveniently close to the major roads.

We booked a room with a kitchenette and it did have a full size refrigerator, a small microwave and a hot plate built into the counter. However, all the kitchen cabinets were empty. No pots or pans to heat food on the hotplate, no cups, no glasses, no bowls, no toaster, no kitchen towels or paper towels not even a sponge or dish detergent! The only thing that was provided was basic silverware! Why advertise a kitchenette if you are NOT going to provide the equipment needed to use it. I did go down to the front desk and they were nice enough to provide us with 2 glasses, 2 cups and 2 plates which I'm guessing came from their break room since everything at the buffet is disposable.

The shower was wonderful! The staff was extremely nice and helpful. A/C didn't work very well, but the window opened & it was cool outside. The bed was lumpy, but not so bad that we couldn't sleep. Paid extra for a 'Suite' with a kitchen, but it was a standard size hotel room & felt very cramped and claustrophobic. Nowhere to sit and eat, and had to sit on the bed to watch TV.

The staff allowed people to stand just outside the front door and smoke. Had to walk through it several times and it made the lobby smell like cigarette smoke.
