Hampton Inn Hagerstown-Maugansville

This was my 4th time staying at this location in one month's time. The access to I-81 is perfect and the location of the hotel is away from the main road but easy to get to stores, restaurants and other venues. We feel safe staying at this hotel that is why we chose it whenever we take a trip. Another plus is if you forget to pack your shampoo, conditioner and body wash (like I did) no need to worry they have them there for you and they are hypoallergenic! I am very sensitive to bath products and their products were gentle on my skin. Too bad they did sell it in their store.

I would like to suggest that in their hotel store they could sell laundry detergent other than Tide. If they want to use Tide products they should see if they could also get Tide Free for those who can not use the harsh product.

The breakfast was always fresh and assorted. The staff was up to par with refilling the food and cleaning up. All were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were not only comforrable to relax and sleep, but also great for working. Thanks to the good WiFi connection. The swimming pool was perfect for a time-out. We have been coming for several years (I think 5 years) from Germany for Thanksgiving to visit family in town. We definitely plan to come again next year.

Finding the entrance to the hotel at night was terrible. No street lights or markings on the road. The sign to the hotel was too small. We drove by the entrance several times because of this.

It was quite and clean. The staff at the front desk was wonderful. I asked for an extra pillow and was brought two. There is shampoo, conditioner and bath wash on the shower wall. Even lotion on the wall by the sink. Room 318 is quite

The AC didn’t work well in Room 318 so if you are a hot person it’s not a room for you 😢

Our room was on interstate side of this very busy highway. Counted 18 wheelers all night.

The location suited me perfectly. I didn't eat breakfast there, I was offered a bag-to-go and It was a much-appreciated offer during the Covid pandemic. The room was comfy and clean. A nice play to stay.

Having more channels on the tv would have been nice. I found very little to watch. I REALLY missed having the info of the channels which was not available. Perhaps Hampton Inn could afford a little cable upgrade. Other than that, it was perfect!

Everything with stay was ok

We were interrupted terrible by a person under front entrance yelling and roaring his car engine for a hour and we had to call and complain and we were really disappointed me and my family traveled to meet there and were looking forward to good sleep and didn’t get it !

Very clean. Beds comfortable. Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was excellent.

Our room was facing the I-81 highway so noisy because of truck traffic. Next time I will request a room on opposing side of this establishment.

I loved that the halls were clean. And the amazing staff, they were all so friendly and kind. the cleaning ladies weren’t so friendly but the front desk staff and the people in the breakfast area were so sweet.

I’m the hotel room there were hairs in the shower, the sink had signs of dried water stains, basically it looked like it wasn’t wiped down or disinfected. there was a makeup removing wipe that was already opened 🤢

Breakfast was good and nice variety. Room was spacious and comfortable. Plenty of hot water in shower and good water pressure. Bed was extremely comfortable and room smelled clean. Staff was friendly.

This was an awesome time away from home. I was so pleased with my service. I visited this area back in May 2022 and the hotel I stayed at was HORRIBLE. Thank you so much Hampton Inn for never letting me down. 😍😍😍
