Great location to beach, one block, easy walk 5 minutes! Boardwalk is 5 minute walk also! very close to beach and boardwalk. This is a great location close to everything. The room was basic and small but had everything you needed as you are only in the room to sleep, The room was very clean, I was impressed with the cleanliness at Beach Bum Inn. The Staff was very friendly and easy check in! We were allowed to park our car their until check in as we arrived early that day so headed to beach until we came back to finish check in, very accommodating!

The shower water did run light and slow when a lot of people showered at the same time at Beach Bum Inn. Didn't like that the drain ran slow and clogged. Wish the bathroom was a little bit bigger or had an area or shelving to store your clothes. Don't recommend the top floor as it has very steep steps to climb for someone with Arthritis, but I should have asked or called in advance for bottom floor. The parking is very tight so drive a compact car if you can.

The hotel is extremely conveniently located, with the boardwalk and beach just a minute or two away by foot, the inlet within 10 minutes walk, and many restaurants, shops, and bars a stone's throw away. Arcades and other fun activities were very close as well. We enjoyed the complimentary grab-and-go breakfast and coffee every morning, which saved us money over the course of our trip. The rate for 2 days and 3 nights was incredibly fair, especially considering how clean our room and the facilities were and how expensive other close-by locations were in comparison. The staff were helpful, friendly, and informative. I will definitely be booking here again!

The only minor issue during our stay was that the walls are very thin, so you can hear people coming and going outside your room, as well as whatever is going on above you. I didn't mind so much, but my partner was a little perturbed.

The location of the place is great !!!!! The room size was way too small for 4 people. There was no place to put your luggage. also the no place to sit. The 1/2 table if even that had two bar stools was more as decoration than able to use. Not a place to sit and eat at. We could hardly move around. I was just thankful that the weather was on our side so that we wasn't suck in that room. The room #11 should have only one queen size bed for a couple or single visitor with an small size table for two. This would also give more room for the small refrigerator and shelving units to be together and not under the only place to hang your clothing.

The free breakfast was nice and we also enjoyed the convenience of being a block from the beach!

I think I’m just done with OCMD for a few years, or all together. I grew up going here and it has become a trip that I take out of pure nostalgia rather than pleasure anymore. The beach was very crowded with people who definitely did not respect personal space. The hotel was very expensive and while it was clean, it was by no means fancy. It’s more of a motel than a hotel. The photos made the bathroom look updated which I was drawn to however the tub was dated. It’s good for a quick place to just sleep but I’d definitely spend the extra couple hundred to stay somewhere nice next time!

We were camping at Trap Pond in Deleware. The purpose of staying at this place was because we did not want to drink and drive on our wedding anniversary. I wanted to spend the day at Ocean City, MD. My husband books this place, a skip and jump to the beach. We both LOVED the inn and felt at home.

We loved the room but had to get glasses to drink a beverage. Other than that, I would probably add a few more items to the breakfast menu (but do know that it was just fine as is). Other than that, I HIGHLY recommend this INN. My husband and I were impressed and enjoyed our stay.

perfect area and good for the price

managers were never there, left room open since we got there later than 3pm. when we got there and told us to check in at 8am. they were never there and when we asked again they said 9. not there again and we finally found someone who said they open at 10 for check in. that was very confusing because we called on the phone earlier that day and they said we couldn’t check in earlier than 3? the bath drain was clogged so the tub would fill with water as we showered and the carpet isn’t even attached to the ground but it is what it is for a price this low. good for a short term stay.

The location and staff were great.

I thought there would be more of a variety for breakfast and the rooms were a bit smaller than expected. Keep in mind that if you are staying with a group under the age of 25, each person will need to put down a security deposit of $100. I was under the impression that it would be $100 total, but since there were four of us, we had to put down a $400 security deposit and the website wasn’t very clear about that. Other than a few little things, we had a great stay!

Loved the room and location. Safe was all almost nice but that's as to be expected. I like That they have an option for an indoor pool at the second building and offer free ice at check in .

There's no sign to not have the room cleaned and thongs were moved that we never found again. Also a staff member was looking all through my car which rubbed me the wrong way and when asked if there was a problem pretended to not hear me and gave me a dirty look.The grab and go breakfast was not as expected but free is free.

I loved the beachy feel of the rooms and the location. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Everything functioned well in the room and was very comfortable. It was great being able to step out on the balcony and see the ocean.

The only complaint I have (and it's very minor), is that there was a very strong odor in the main office area. It wasn't bad, almost perfume like or an air freshener. But, it lingered on the breakfast items. Drinking out of the cups and anything in the bowls tasted like it.

The location was great!

My only 2 complaints and this is on people that stay here. Kids running above throughout day and night. Families should be on the first level. 2nd damage to car in very tight parking lot to g/f car. Arrived with no damage, car stayed in parking lot for 2 days before leaving, only to notice someone had rubbed against passenger side bumper with their suit case which removed paint. The parking lot is too tight.
