Onyx Boston Downtown

It’s conveniently located to easily the best bar, Porters Bar & Grill. You’re no more then a minute walk away from the garden and to all the good food joints in Boston. We got into Boston at 10:30 and were able to leave our bags with them until 3pm for check in!

As soon as we were able to check in the fire alarms went off. But with renovations going on something simple like smoke from a dermal tool could of set that off. I originally requested for a bath tub but with the renovations we got a new room which was AMAZING! Including a huge tv!

We stayed for easy access to my sons medical appointments at Mass General, staff was extremely accommodating and friendly, completely easeful experience from start to finish, valet also very helpful. We had to check out early, but leave our vehicle past check out time due to appointment timing. This was not a problem at all, staff simply tagged our bags and held them for us until we were ready to come back… room was on the smaller side, but completely comfortable, clean and cozy! will absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others especially with it being just walking distance from Mass General, TD Garden, the Boston public market, and so many more attractions. A great choice!

Stayed here with a date for a one night trip to see Wicked at the Citizens Bank Opera House. The location was perfect for us. 15 minute walk to dinner in the North End. 15 minute ride on the T to the Theater District and only a few more minutes to Boston Common. The room was a good size for the city and we both loved the king bed. Room was clean and comfortable. Huge sink! It may not be like this on nights when TD Garden has events (which is very, very close by), but this hotel is quiet! Can’t hear anything through the walls and located on a street with very little traffic. I requested a quiet room in advance and was not disappointed.

Kind of picky of us but the bed didn’t have a fitted sheet on it. A flat sheet was tucked well as a replacement, but it was obvious something was missing. We probably could have called the front desk for one but it wasn’t a big enough deal to us to do that. Just unexpected. No lounge or memorable front desk area. We didn’t need this in the slightest but some people might be expecting this so I thought I’d mention it. The small space is utilized in the best way possible as a breakfast buffet in the morning, but I can’t comment on the options as we went out. There’s a local Boston chain cafe called Tatte less than a mile away with amazing options.

The convenience of the location and the ease of getting in and out. Also nice that it included a continental breakfast.

The room was very small for the price. The bathroom didn’t have a vanity, it was just a pedi stool sink so there wasn’t much room to get ready. The room we stayed in also had rooms directly across and next to us when we opened our window shade so we had no privacy and had to keep the shade shut.

Location was PRIME! We traveled by train so being able to step off the train and walk a minute to our room was amazing. The hotel was SO clean and luxurious feeling and the staff were SO KIND AND SMILEY! L The location distance to many attractions was perfect. Rooms were a perfect size and comfortable. The prices were awesome!

I wish the bar/lounge area was more notably open or used. I wish the vent in our bathroom worked. And I wish that the t.v. was more up to date or easier to use. We didn't know the channels or how to find t.v. guide. It felt a little out dated. But nothing at all here that would tarnish our weekend. We had an amazing time and a great hotel!

It is a great location. walking distance to Quincy Market and right next door to TD garden. They are clean, attractive rooms.

Normally I don’t have much to complain about, however the valet service was not on their A game. I called down for my car to be brought up. honestly Im amazed they found it. I was given one ticket number, a different number was placed in my car, and my keys were in a third number. So after a short search for my keys I was under way, only to realize my seat and steering wheel were completely adjusted. I have no idea why they felt it was important to adjust to them when they are only parking it.

The location is perfect for TD Garden and The North Train Station. It's literally just a block or two away. Many great restaurants in this area as well. Highly recommend Banners... Was impressed with our hotel room. Immaculate and comfortable. It will be my first choice anytime I go to TD Garden Overall, I give it a 9 out of 10

We had 2 beds. It's nitpicking but one of the beds was a little springy, but still comfortable

20 mins walk to quincy market, aquarium, little italy and 5 mins from TD Center. So location is good. Staff was very helpful and friendly, that’s a big plus.

Breakfast is just coffee yogurt and kind of stale croissants and muffins. Plan to eat somewhere else. Valet parking is expensive, but trying to find your own safe parking would be a constant challenge. The rooms are not super soundproof, can hear clearly hallway activity and even on the 7th floor you can hear street noise in the morning.

I thought the continental breakfast was simple but good. The valet parking was easy and convenient. The location is extremely convenient to Boston Garden, and a short, safe walk from many other parts of the city.

The room was noisy - when people were in the hall outside, it sounded like they were talking inside the room. We were next to the elevator, so there was a lot of noise outside the room.

This hotel was super convenient to City Winery (where we were seeing a concert). Very close to TD Garden/North Station too. Lots of places to eat and drink. The room (“Deluxe King) was not huge but was very comfortable. We were asked upon arrival if we preferred a high or low floor, close to the elevator or not - which was very nice. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and everything was very clean. I wish there had been an in room coffee maker, but there was a fridge. The included breakfast was “grab and go” with limited offerings due to Covid, but that’s the norm everywhere now. Skip the $67 valet parking. There’s an open air lot around the corner (Friends St and Valenti) where we paid $40 from 3pm til 11:30am. I’d stay here again.
