Boston Marriott Cambridge

Great view of the city from the room. Loved the stay. Comfortable beds and the room was clean. Staff was great and accommodating and helpful with questions on how to get around the city. Also the station for the train (or the T as the call it) was literally right outside of the doors from the hotel which provides great access for commuting.

The listing started that the room would sleep 5 but it ended up being a standard double bed room. When I brought it to the attention of the staff they were quick to find a fix or alternative but ended up getting a roll away bed for an extra fee.

Staff was exceptional, very helpful and friendly. The location was fantastic-close to the T. Eating options were within a 30 minute walk. Rooms were quiet and comfortable.

We stayed 5 days and the room was never serviced. We had to get towels, toiletries, coffee, by request. The were no restaurant services. We didn't get a discounted rate due to lack of services.

The location of the hotel is really great. There are lot of restaurants near by.

This is probably my fault but i figure i mention it. I was surprised to find out i had to pay an extra $55.00 per parking. As i mentioned it is probably my fault since i didnt read the whole description but, why couldnt the price for the parking be per room instead of car? there is not even a discount or anything for the second vehicle so it cost me an unexpected amount to park our cars. Maybe it would be a good idea to make it a bit more obvious in the description.

Location was great for visiting over the July 4 weekend. We watched the fireworks at the waterfront on the Cambridge side and then walked right back to the hotel and avoided crowds lining up for the subway. Fabulous staff.

We paid extra for club access thinking that it came with continental breakfast. It didn't - it only came with "access" to breakfast, so we had to pay extra that we weren't expecting. Confusing to see photos of a pool at this hotel, but the pool is actually closed.

Very close to the perfect spot for the july 4. fireworks at the Charles River. :-)

There was a little bit of confusion among the staff at the breakfast whether we had the Bonvoy advantage with breakfast or not. We did by it for the entire stay at the receptioon for all for off us. But at the restaurant they had to call the reception all the time to confirm.

Our room was very clean. The location was perfect - right beside a train station, walking distance to restaurants and a good grocery store, easy to walk across the bridge to downtown Boston. And the staff was super! We flew in on a red eye snd we were able to get into our room early so we could sleep.

The room had two double beds instead of two queens. I would have preferred if the bathroom door was between the sink and toilet/shower. There were 4 of us snd no one could get ready with the mirror and sink if others were showering or using the toilet.

The hotel was great. You had Boston Train right outside the hotel. You could also walk into Boston over the bridge. The room was very nice. The only thing is the description says 5 adults but only 4 can fit comfortably.

Everything was great. Only thing is the description that you can fit 5 comfortably in the room. 4 People is the max. Otherwise, the hotel and trip was great!

The weekend breakfast buffet was great! The staff was friendly and professional. Our room had a view of the river and was very clean. The beds were comfortable, loved having all the variety of pillows.

Wished the bathroom sliding doors closed all the way! Not a big problem if only one person has the room.

View, location, cleanliness all good. Food in restaurant was good and staff friendly.

Come on. Just make it free WiFi - such an unnecessary set of hoops to jump through. It's egregious to ask people to pay extra for a service that everyone expects.

It was a good location off the beaten path. Sitting next to MIT and was just a few minutes drive to downtown and Boston common. It was my family’s first visit and it was convenient for everything we did. The staff were extremely friendly and the valet was fantastic with our vehicle. Highly recommend a stay. The room was definitely unique with the corner room having full glass windows to overlook the sites. The only negative was that I booked the room for the 4th from other reviews to watch the fireworks but Boston has recently moved them to Boston commons area instead.
