Comfort Inn & Suites Allen Park/Dearborn

This is a pretty decent older hotel. That rooms were nice and big and I thought they were pretty clean. They have started remodeling the lobby in the breakfast room, and it looks very nice. Breakfast was pretty decent. It was your typical waffle, eggs, sausage, pastries, and yogurt. I think the rooms were decently priced. Overall, I felt that it was a nice stay.

Since the hotel is a little bit older, there were places where the carpet was old and worn. The hotel is also kind of a maze, and I did not feel like the direction signs were easily understandable. I think the mattresses are a little older, but they were not terrible. At least I did not wake up with a sore back!

What I liked most about the property is the staff especially the manager her name is Kimberly!! i mean she has excellent customer service! She made sure I was completely satisfied with my room just everything! She made sure I was there to enjoy my stay and the most important part being comfortable!!!! Kimberly 20/10!!!!!!!!!!!! Make sure if u stay at this property she Kimberly because she makes sure the customer s the number 1 priority!!

The water pressure and the hot water didn’t stay hot for a long time it kept switching cold to hot. The inside could use a few adjustments meaning the walls the carpet inside the elevator some parts we’re outdated

The receptionists are the security are quite nice and helpful. The instant foods sales offered on the first floor are great. The swimming pool looks awesome. The breakfast was great.

If the room air could be equipped with electronic air-filter with ozone generator, the air quality will be improved. The lights in the room were too dark. The location of the instant foods on sale was not easily visible. If there is a sign helping people find the location it will be great.

Front desk staff was very nice and helpful.

My 1st room smelled of smoke and it was bad they gave me a new room it smelled bad also but they gave me spray helped a little. The carpets in the hotel were very dirty and stained. We didn’t get towels on the second day we had to ask for towels. They had dirty buckets around and the cleaning staff seemed unorganized.

The room was clean and spacious. Standard breakfast and facilities. Did not really interact with staff because our trip went smoothly!

Not really the fault of the hotel but, the pool is placed in an odd place so the elevator area is always soaking wet and reeks of chlorine. At least you know the pool is clean though!!

Lobby was nicely decorated for the holidays. Staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in a very spacious king room right off the lobby entrance. We had missed breakfast by 15 minutes, the staff allowed us to take a sandwich and some juice, that was appreciated!

The floor going into the pool area was very dirty. No one else's fault but my own that I forgot my flip flops to wear down there. Not sure what was going on, but there was yelling in the hallway at 3am. I'm guessing that isn't a normal occurrence but annoying nonetheless.

The layout of the room was very exceptional. The room was very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff members were very polite and respectful. Food places were within 5-10 minutes away from the area. I like the fact that they had a whole shopping strip literally 2 minutes away.

Did not like the fact that the jacuzzi tub water was cold... And the shower was as well!!! I did not like the fact that hot breakfast was advertised but we in fact didn't get breakfast just a fruit or a muffin. I know there is covid rules but a staff member could if passed out hot breakfast as promised when I booked. Me and my wife had to go to the best western to get breakfast!!! Which was suggested by a staff member

I loved the jacuzzi. The room was very clean. Staff was polite and unobtrusive. We had a nice stay. We would recommend it.

It was a disappointed that breakfast wasn't available. We were not in fore about it.. I did see the note on the website later about certain unavailable amenities. The view wasn't great... The Location is next to a storage facility lot and a fancier hotel ( we went to that hotel for dinner and drinks because there was nothing here) The room was smaller than expected but still nice. The mini fridge was way too mini. We could barely fit two take out containers inside.

It was nice the pool was open had breakfast everything we needed. It was packed but that is fine by me. It was also Easter weekend too.

Didn't have enough towels . But the front desk helped me out asap. They were very accommodating.

location, quiet, accessible to restaurants. Breakfast buffet was very nice as well as maintain. Pool was in a good location and well maintained

Carpets either need to be cleaned or replaced. the room we had was very nice except the stains on the carpet was very noticeable.
