My kids absolutely LOVED the pool and arcade!! We also loved having the restaurant right in the hotel. The hours for the pool were longer than usual and that was great too! The breakfast had many options which was wonderful. However, the warm items were not that great. The eggs and bacon tasted fake. But everything else was really good. The breakfast hours were also longer than I’ve experienced at other hotels so that was an added bonus!

The air conditioning was very loud when it came on, but nothing we couldn’t sleep through and didn’t bother telling the staff. Although I know they would have helped out if they had known.

Nice variety for the continental breakfast. Pool & hot tubs were great & we loved the fact that everything was close to & overlooking the pool so we could still keep an eye on the kids but have some adult time too! Staff was very friendly & everything was super clean.

Only half of the arcade games worked & the food at the sharkees sports bar in the hotel was not very good but the location & ambiance of the bar made up for that

The breakfast was great! There was many choices and something different each day of our stay. The staff kept everything clean and well stocked. So happy Hampton Inn continues to provide this amenity!

I was not a fan of having to charge my phone across the room since I use it as my alarm. I would like to have the ability to charge my phone next to the bed. It would be helpful if there was more electrical outlets or the USB ports.

Perfect location. It was nice having the bar if you wanted to grab a glass of wine before turning in Amenities were very nice.

At the time of our stay there must have been a kids traveling football or hockey game nearby as there were tons of kids running amuck! (just a side note - in my day, kids were better behaved,but….) The towels & the extra blanket were not fresh & clean smelling - very musty smell in the room as well. The fridge was not on when we got there & altho the room/bathroom seemed clean the fan in bathroom needs to be cleaned & the overall musty smell made it seem unclean. if that makes sense. and this is a 3 * hotel.

Large hotel, good food and perfect location! I realized that Holland is quite spread out, I had no idea when I booked but this was the perfect location! It’s not downtown which was nice because that area is very busy! It’s just outside of downtown and literally next door to Dutch Village which was our destination in Holland so it was perfect!

Bathroom doors are pocket doors, ours did not lock, it looked to be by design, but possibly broken.

We were able to check-in before the 4 pm check-in time. Any clerks we dealt with were knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. The room-cleaner who we encountered in the hallway was helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was decent, area was kept well-stocked and clean. Pool was good but had more chorine than desirable. Liked the double-window coverings.

Elevator was pretty slow.

Even tho the hotel was booked due to a youth hockey tournament, our stay was awesome!! Saturday night they took over the pool but we also stayed Sunday night and enjoyed the hot tub all by ourselves!! Breakfast was delish and a great mix! Outdoor and indoor hot tub/spa was very relaxing after a full day sightseeing and dune climbing!! Beautiful property, friendly staff & well maintained facility!! Will def return!!

The price

Breakfast was very good and many options. Very child friendly hotel. Quiet and comfy. Pool was beautiful and clean. Staff checks in regularly via text and were very responsive. Would definitely stay there again.

Only complaint I would have is that the picture of the room showed a bathtub, but our room only had a shower. The kids balked a bit at showering, being used to baths. But it wasn't worth bringing up to staff, as it was my fault for not inquiring.

Rooms always nice and clean. Nice free breakfast. Close proximity to attractions, beach, and restaurants.

Other guests need to be observant of quiet times at night while in the hallways. I think staff should observe the pool area more frequently. There were adults actually jumping into the hot tub,a family with a baby and small children playing in the hot tub, and teens playing football in the pool, disregarding other children trying to swim.

mattress was a bit firm but I fell asleep on it, so it must not have been that hard
