I liked how safe it felt in our rooms. Needing a key to get everywhere is really nice, especially for families. We liked the laid back modern feeling. Very clean and felt high end. Room was very clean, the products available in the shower to use were very nice! Friendly staff, clean lobby. Responsive to calls.

That the Hilton garden comes first in the walk way to the hotel. Especially when you have little ones, sometimes that's quite the trek when you need to run to the car for something or hauling bags back and forth with young ones. Also, I can't count how many times we had to stop our 2 year old from getting her fingers pinched everywhere. Maybe a little too modern for families with young ones.

I thought the check in was smooth, the decor was up to date, the staff was friendly and the entire facility was clean and well maintained. I liked that the two hotels were connected and were able to take advantage of the bar/lounge area regardless of the property we were staying. Everything met or exceeded my expectations.

While I appreciate the attached parking garage, and the ease of access, I felt $20 day was high. Since we checked in on Friday and out on Saturday the two-day charge for the facility was kind of outrageous. we were there less than 24 hours.

Affordable, comfortable, trendy decor, safe, close to WMU campus and all downtown Kalamazoo has to offer. I wish this hotel was around when I went to WMU. I remember my parents staying at other hotels in the area when visiting me at school. The other hotels within this price range aren’t as conveniently located, aren’t as clean and new, and don’t feel as safe as this Home2Suites in downtown Kalamazoo!

I didn’t like paying for parking nightly, but it was still very convenient and loved having the skywalk to avoid walking across the street in the rain.

I can't begin to rosin how great this was right from check in. I was assisted with all my baggage, got the room paid for and inside fast, and right from the moment I saw my name on the TV I knew I was somewhere special. As I explored SO much more blew my mind, including full on dishes and a dish washer!!! A hotel with a dish washer??? Wild! Not only that but as I mentioned before, loved the showers being so tall, the control of the room settings fun the TV remote was so convenient, and thanks to being perfectly downtown AND right next to the bus station, it was so easy to get our and dry what I needed before settling in! I only had one stay but I promise you, I'll live here permanently one of these days!!!

I'm not saying this to be nice or flattering, but I have literally no complaints. Nada. If I REALLY had to pick, I guess it's that I had to keep running outside to have a smoke break, but I literally can't hold that against you even if I were living there on any kind of extended lease, I'd not smoke in the room. The smells of both tobacco and cannabis flower are so potent and I would never inconvenience or ruin someone's stay like that. So again, I have basically zero complaints. I plan to check this hotel first for any and every stay downtown I have.

The room size and bed space is amazing for the price. The staff is phenomenal, especially dealing with all the individuals going to the anime convention in full cosplay. Everyone was always super helpful. My favorite thing about the room is the bigger fridge and small kitchenette (although I do wish I had access to a stove, I do understand fire safety concerns).

Breakfast was not the best, Could definitely use different snack-type options (muffins, doughnuts,), more juice options. I did also had to ask for more toilet paper and towels(I requested extra towels when booking but did not get those) but they brought everything to the room within an hour or so.

The bed wast super comfy. I love the feather pillows and soft sheets. It was clean and the breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety. It was in walking distance to a lot of stuff. And the homeless were non aggressive. One of the best places I've stayed and looking forward to going back.

Instructions on how to use the parking garage could have been better but that's my only complaint.

Most everything was a wonderful. Everyone we happened to interact with were friendly and helpful. The person (Travis I believe) behind the counter Monday morning looked all over for a sharps container because I left my diabetic at home. He found it for me and he was an extremely helpful.

Being diabetic having a few more friendly ideas would have been nice. Everything I did have was good. But! This is a hurdle most diabetic have every wear when traveling

We had a suite that sleeps 6 people comfortably. It was very clean and had a kitchenette. Hot breakfast was included with the stay and had a variety of foods. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

Some food and drinks ran out, and they took a little while to refill, but perhaps they didn't have enough staff. Otherwise, everything was good.

Fine downtown location; parking within one block; attentive staff who’s pleasant and engage w/ one another; quiet room as requested

All lights in the entryway/vestibule of the room were not functioning, making the entrance and kitchen very dark and the room somewhat depressing. For $200 a night I prefer nicer flooring than carpet tiles. Decor theme achieves “modern cheap” not “modern vintage” or “modern Scandinavian” or similar. However, I did not expect luxurious; it accommodated my needs.

Pool closed Breakfast food was below standard.
