Comfort Inn Metro Airport Romulus

Breakfast was adequate with a few choices of foods including eggs and bagels, yogurt etc.

We booked this hotel because it had a shuttle to and from the airport. The desk person did NOT tell us to look for the shuttle that said "Gateway" on the front after calling 3 times to ask where it was. Finally, after the 4th call to the hotel, the desk clerk was a different person who informed us we were to look for the Gateway shuttle. It had been at the airport a couple times but we thought we needed the Comfort Inn bus. So, we waited over an hour and half to finally get on the shuttle because we didn't have the right information.

The staff was awesome. Bartender gal got my wife and I a couple of doubles to take to the room. **ten minutes after official closing. It'd been a hard day and the customer service was just what we needed.

In the morning the shuttle driver was on the phone and wanted me to hand our luggage up to him, um yeah, my wife and I both have spinal cord injuries and were already both pushing a walker at the moment. Then once we're at the airport notice my collapsible walker is no longer with us so driver didn't unload it when he dropped us off at the airport. I did call the comfort inn and they do have my walker, having my daughter Jacqueline Calender pick it up

I made the reservation for a cousin traveling from Scotland to Buffalo that got stuck in Detroit overnight due a snowstorm in Buffalo. Our cousin is blind & needed assist- he said the staff was great & very helpful after a very long travel day. He was able to get a very comfortable night sleep & some breakfast before returning to the airport for his re-scheduled morning flight to Buffalo.

Breakfast a nice but nothing special

Front office staff were kind and respectful. They acted as professionals. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The elevators were working good. The ride to the airport was also exemplary. On time and the driver was very helpful and smiling.

We were feeling somewhat uncomfortable with the breakfast staff. They don't talk too much. A simple 'good morning would have been enough. The food was excellent.

Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. Good value for money. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

Our flight arrived after midnight and we were very tired. We waited a long time for the shuttle and when it came it was full and we had to wait for another one. In the end, it took us over 1 hour to get to the hotel from the airport. Also breakfast finished at 9am and I missed it by 15 minutes.

Very close to airport, bed was comfortable with lots of pillows, and desirable businesses close by. The staff was friendly and accomodating and parking very accessible!

Breakfast could be better. The door which housed the fridge had a hinge that needed repair and we would have liked a morning paper. The key card stopped working which was inconvenient.

Nice, well cared-for, great staff. Bar & Grill right off the lobby. Prompt efficient shuttle service.

Some problems with the door locks & cards. The food in the restaurant was pretty good, but could use an upgrade and a little more attention to detail.

I wasn't advised by desk staff the night of check-in about airport shuttle schedule and info and thought I could leave my car at the hotel. Had to take extra time from schedule next morning. Good thing I did make my flight on time.

We absolutely loved that the staff was phenomenal, the location was great because it was not congested, and the best part was the restaurant/bar in the lobby. The food was delicious, the wait staff was friendly, and there was a full bar and Keno! Such a great place to hang out!

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was very comfortable. There was a laundry room and business room, both of which I used. The hotel was very quiet.

The phone in the room stopped working 2 days before the end of our visit. I would have liked a few more options for breakfast.
