Great Lakes Inn & Suites

This is a great place for a good price! My window looked out on a lovely lawn and mature tree. My suite was very clean, with new bathroom facilities. The bed was comfy and easy to fall asleep in. The staff was helpful and approachable.

I appreciated the efforts to update the suite. I assume the kitchen cook tops will be replaced in the future

We stayed here to attend a wedding over in South Haven. The check-in staff was super nice & friendly. The check-in process was quick as well, which made things go quicker since we were kind of in a time-crunch. Once in the room, the heat worked perfectly fine + the bed was extremely comfortable. It was quiet during the night, which was a huge plus in our books! We especially enjoyed having walk-in access from the parking lot. Made things WAY easier when packing/unloading the car. Since we were here for a wedding, we never got a chance to view the pool area. If we are back in the area again for a wedding - we will certainly be back! We enjoyed this place a lot & would recommend it to budget travelers to stay. Great price & you get what you pay for! Thanks again.

Nothing we didn't like. This hotel was exactly what we expected for the price. It is not "luxury" by any means. But it was exactly what we needed it to be - so we have absolutely NO complaints, whatsoever! If anything, it would be more firm pillows. They had your classic "cheaper" end hotel pillows - but you get those even at luxury hotels. So again, not a complaint. We always bring our own pillows whenever we stay at a hotel - so no worries there.

It is very convenient to South Haven and store. Food close . Close to back road and highway to Holland MI. Information is awesome on arrival in seeing the sunset at South Haven!! Mattress was awesome!!

Needed a light above small table, we used a flash light. The tub was slick when entering and exit, a rail would had been nice.

The main reason I chose this location was because it was pet friendly. But it really exceeded my expectations. Not super fancy but very clean. Beds were very comfy. Rooms come with a microwave and refrigerator. I can tell the bathrooms were recently renovated. Nice grassy area for dogs to run around in. Host at the front desk was very polite.

We stay at Great Lakes every time we go to Michigan. Or at least we try to if it's not booked already. We LOVE the location. Staying in the suites is my favorite but they were booked. It's not your upscale hotel but it has just what we need and want.

Everything was great and just what we expected! Staying here so many times we know what we are getting and what to expect.

it was okay could’ve been better. I like that there was a good ac unit, mini fridge, microwave also the pool is a plus. also how close it is to everything we loved that! about 6 min drive to everywhere we wanted to go.

the toilet was not fixed properly and broke due to sitting down. the tub in the shower was bowing up. the tile where it meets the carpet there was like staples sticking out we kept stepping on and snagged a sock and created a hole.

It was the middle of week, so very quite at this time. Indoor pool loked nice, didn't partake. All roms basically ground level, step up. Loved for our dog! And yes pet friendly..$15x whoopty... clean beds.

In 1st 8 rooms there is Windows above doors.... light right outside of rooms...shines in bright all night....

Was one of the few motels available at this time because of Holland Tulip Festival. Convenient location for us. Older motel, but had inexpensive vending machines and a laundry. I had stayed here 7 years ago. It had everything we needed for a one night stay on a bicycle trip.

No complaints.

This place is a little older but has been updated and is kept very clean. Andy at the front was extremely helpful. It’s located close to downtown and all the beaches. We had no complaints and look forward to returning soon!

The staff was very nice, great price, newly updated bathroom and decent room. It was a great value for us as we really weren’t in the room much. The breakfast was small but just fine for us.

At first when we drove up we said it felt like a Scooby Doo episode but we just aren’t used to motels. It was very safe and clean.
