The Inn at Harbor Shores

Location was perfectly located to everything we wanted . Downtown area and beaches . The staff was wonderful each person we talked to was extremely helpful

The only thing that my daughters and I were bothered by were the amount of spiderwebs in each light fixture around the resort. We walked around each evening after the pool closed and there were so many in every light. Also in the indoor pool area there were a ton by the glass doors . I’m sure they are all the other bugs because their wasn’t any, but we all just hate spiders, so that bothered us. Otherwise, it was a wonderful relaxing trip and we would definitely come back. I’ve shared with friends and family about how great it was and they are interested in visiting it as well .

The staff was excellent! Our room was nice. It was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The view was pretty at night. The barrista at Rise & Vine was smiling and friendly even while handling 8 orders at once.

If we stay again, we will request an end room as we were right by the elevator and could hear every conversation as people went by, and also every toilet flush of neighboring room. Would have preferred a regular style coffee maker instead of pods and we thought there was a microwave.

Complimentary margaritas at check in! Yes please! Amazing food and drinks both at the restaurant and cafe. The staff was amazing! From the receptionist to the cleaning crew to the security guard. We didn’t get a chance to splurge on your other amenities like the spa or shuttle but that didn’t stop is from having a great time around town.

The service at the restaurant definitely needed improvement. Our server just forgot about us. I also know that finding good employees is extremely hard right now, so I understand, but when you go to have a great meal and great view you expect great service. That part was off putting. Some of your members were extremely entitled at the pool and hot tub and treated my sister-in-law and I like garbage, but the amazing security guard helped take care of us!

Inside of the facility was beautiful. Loved the restaurant downstairs. And the pool/hot tub were great. Our double room was great traveling with kids.

the photos on booking.com show a beautiful water view from the hotel but all you can really see is large boats and piles of sand/rock. Almost looked like a construction zone. That Definitely wasn’t pictured on the listing.

The Inn at Harbor Shores is a beautiful hotel. Staff friendly and helpful, beautiful location overlooking the harbor. Comfortable rooms and nice large shower. Not far from the downtown area or St Joseph Lighthouse. Water taxi service available at no cost to 4 different locations from the hotel. A complimentary margarita & smores packet were offered at check in. Highly recommend

The staff at both the restaurant and the pool bar were more than I could ever ask for!!!! Extremely friendly, accommodating, always making sure you were ok and had everything you needed!!! Rob, Ayla, and Isabella in the pool bar area were super sociable and fun people to talk to!! My husband and I never stay anywhere else but here!!!!

The only thing wrong was there was only one elevator working but that's ok, it wasn't too big of a deal and the wait time wasn't bad at all!!!

Rooms were okay and clean. Service in the restaurants was okay, but the cost was high.

The hotel was very expensive over Memorial Day weekend, around $400 per night. We were excited about the possibility of a nice view but found it marred by 4 enormous gravel heaps across the river at a building site. The other concern was when I charged drinks and a plate of fries to my room at the Tiki bar. Without my approval the bar person added a 30% tip. I might have considered a good tip but it took 25 minutes for the fries to arrive. I did not know about this excessive charge until 3 days later after I checked my credit card bill. The hotel had promised to send me an email copy of my account on checkout but this never arrived. Small things like this can leave a bad taste in an otherwise good experience.

very pretty, like the water side activities, bikes, music etc

We had a king size suite for 4 adults, the only bed was comfortable, however the pullout couch absolutely needed to be replaced! The couch smelled awful and had stains all over the cushions. i tried to flip the cushions over and the other side was worse! We couldn’t sit in the main room on it because it was so nasty and hard. Absolutely Gross!

Loved the balcony overlooking the river, the pool, outdoor bar and guest activities and treats

We were disappointed we could not get a table for dinner in the lobby restaurant. Our first night we were tired, looking forward to enjoying the hotel restaurant and relaxing after a long drive but had to get back into the car and drive into town

The facilities are beautiful and the breakfast was delicious!! The live music was a great touch as well!

Wish the front desk lady had been more knowledgeable about the area. Asked about a hiking paths and she had no idea. Luckily a google search found a place called Sarett nature center.
