It’s convenient to get to.

The lighting, above the sink, in the Bathroom is way too dim. There were no outlets next to the beds to plug in a phone cord or anything else. Another lamp, like the one on the desk would have remedied that. And, the toilet seat doesn’t fit the bowl. These are not serious issues to you, maybe, but it’s the little details that make a difference. Finally, I was unable to get the veterans discount because I didn’t call the property, directly. So, the price was a little higher than we can afford. But, by check-in it was too late to change. That’s what I was told by the desk clerk.

Earlier check in, first floor room near lobby for access of mobility scooter, free breakfast was good, staff friendly, room comfortable, location proximate to downtown Saugatuck was convenient. We were very pleased.

No complaints.

The facility was clean, but the bathroom (especially the tub/shower) need to be updated. Every employee we encountered was very pleasant. The breakfast was fine, and ending breakfast at 9:30 was not a problem for us, but I think that for most families with small children, breakfast should be extended til 10:00-10:30. The pool was open from 6:30 a.m. until 11:00 pm, so plenty of time to use the pool!

I believe the facility should be more secure. I think guests should have to use a key card for entry into the building.

Everything was very clean. The family that ran the place was very nice. Their hot tub was great.

Wifi service was pretty weak. We had trouble with our connection throughout.

The room was clean and it was in a quiet location if that is what you are looking for. The staff was friendly and helpful. My husband got really sick the second day and we had to stay an extra 2 days because he was unable to travel. The staff extended our stay and we only had to change rooms the last night.

It was a little drive from most of the tourist spots so you couldn't walk anywhere. The breakfast had a reasonable amount of options but the hot breakfast items were not too good. Though they were about the norm for most hotel chains. The only thing saw in my stay that was not clean was the in room coffee pot but I looked inside it, tried to flush it out with water and gave up and just went down to the lobby to get coffee so it was not a real problem.

The property is very quiet and partially surrounded by a small wooded area, which made sitting outside enjoyable. There is a pool and a small workout facility, and breakfast is served each morning, which is nice. It's a short drive to the shops and restaurants of Saugatuck/Douglas.

The property is severely dated and could use a facelift inside. It was also quite expensive considering that its offerings are so old (the laundry facility, tiny gym, and pool are all in need of an upgrade).

The convenience to head to town was great! nice quiet location

Room not completely clean, small stain on bedspread and dusty lamp and tables. There was a puppy crying all night in the next room even though signs saying no pets allowed. We didn’t report to desk to not get anyone in trouble. Kept waking my son and I up.

Location was great for what we needed. Last minute trip to meet family that was are building new home in Saugatuck.

I bit the bullet & paid more than I wanted to a week before trip. Day after we arrived found the rate to be cheaper than I booked. 🤔😞

The staff is very nice. My son and I come every summer for hiking and hot tub :) The hot breakfast is decent and they have fruits, eggs, oatmeal, coffee and tea. I liked having a fridge in my room. We could also go downstairs and microwave our food. Overall I love the value and the front end manager is very accommodating and warm. I like this Best Western better, and so does my son.

Sometimes it was a bit too noisy, but I’m a light sleeper I guess. Also breakfast was supposed to be 8-10, and if you came toward the end, eggs and other hot foods would be gone, so you have to get there early.

The entire staff was amazing. It seemed as if every employee was an actual owner of the property.

Frankly, it could not have been better. It was an amazing stay. It was close to mini attractions. I shall return again!
