Radisson Blu Mall of America

The location. The cleanliness. Most of the staff was very nice. The women at the front desk and the Valet staff went above and beyond to accommodate you!! The food at firelake was delicious.. the staff was amazing during breakfast. We ended up tipping our waiter and the 3 line cooks as well because our experience was top notch. Thank you.

There wasn't a microwave in our room unfortunately.. room 1233. There was a male host who was suppose to greet and seat you at the Fire Lake restaurant who works the night shift. We would always see him slouched over his host desk looking very uninviting. When I approached him to ask a question about ordering food to take to our room his first word to me was "What?" I said "excuse me?" He said "what can I help you with?" I asked him if I was able to order food to take to our room and he told me that I would have to order that from the bar. And so I did.. the bartenders were great atleast.

Fire Lake is amazing, a bit pricey, but worth it. The valet guys are top knotch! Location is perfect, you never have to go outside to get to the mall. Rooms were so clean, and housekeeping staff were great! I would recommend requesting to have a room closer to the elevators next time though, those hallways are LONG after a long day walking the mall!!!

Beds are a little hard, and wish there were more vending machines close by. Once the mall closes there isn't really anywhere to get snacks/drinks or anything like that, and with kids that was a little tricky. But still this hotel/location are a definite 10/10

I loved the bed and sheets and that the room was exceptionally quiet from outside noise. I liked the bathroom size. Also liked being able to walk right into the mall.

I did not like the bathroom sink. Too high and it did not drain correctly. I also did not like the tub. It was hard to get into. It's high and getting in and out was a little worrysome. I worried I might slip getting out. There should be a hand grip or something to use when getting in or out. It's not your average tub.

Our room was very comfortable and had all of the amenities we needed

When I called for reservations with specific requests for three rooms next to each other, two rooms with double beds and one with a king bed, I was assured my requests were met. However, the three rooms were each on different floors and the room request for a king size bed was a room with a double bed. Because our stay was short, we did not complain, however I was disappointed that I was assured my requests were honored, but in actuality were not. We made the best of our stay although our requests and assurances were not met.

The location was absolutely perfect we went for the Mall of America. The room nice walls are too thin we could hear everything going on in the hall way. Food from the restaurant was good just a little to pricey.

The walls are thin you can hear everything going on in the hallways. The food in the restaurant was good but not really worth price. The restaurant menu is not kid friendly. With it being that close to a family main attraction they should have kid friendly menus.

We loved the property’s restaurant, Firelake! Went three times. Especially the coffee! Loved the in room coffee. I looked for cleanliness and found zero issues! Very clean. We are selling our house so just wanted someplace local to hang and this was great! Saw a movie, shopped, ate, relaxed!

The check in line was too long that was a slow start and when that’s ur first impression it’s off-putting.

No real complaints about the room, as we've reserved the same rooms before and they met our expectations. Actually, they exceeded our expectations the first time around... but the second time, you know what to expect. We love the location... connected to the mall. So nice to have all of that at your fingertips... with no driving.

The bed. Not completely awful, but far too firm for our tastes. Considering the clientele that would rent the types of rooms that we rented, you should assume (and deliver on) higher expectations. Enjoyed the bar downstairs, but the restaurant has no atmosphere. An Olive Garden or Red Lobster would KILL in that space.

This is my favorite hotel. Worth every penny. I was a flight attendant and this is the hotel the airline put us in for MSP layovers and ever since the first stay I always told myself I had to bring my kids here. I did finally and my children agree this is the best hotel ever. It’s so convenient and the staff is very helpful, accommodating and friendly. I would stay here a million times over again. I tell all my family and friends how magical this place is. Cannot wait to stay again!

The one and only issue I had is how incredibly far some of the rooms are from elevator. I did ask for a room close to the elevators and they were able to accommodate but some of the rooms with the lower numbers, X20 and lower, those hallways are so long. A good 2 minute walk from the elevator to the room. Very frustrating when you forget something in the room and have to go back and get it.

It would have been good to know reservations were recommended. That said the food was delicious and the service impeccable.

Being told reservations for breakfast would be helpful. Also, there is no place in the room to eat room service. Having a table and chairs other than the desk would be nice. Also, for a king sized bed the pillows were super tiny. I would have liked to see double the number of pillows or pillows double the size.

Very convenient

It took too long to check in. It appears we arrived during shift change so there was only 1 at the desk. He was dealing with an elderly person and was patient with them. After about 10-15 minutes someone else jumped in to help and the line was taken care of. They offered a drink card for the inconvenience. Life happens and he treated the woman with kindness is all that matters in the end
